Nice and quiet!Posted Mar 31, 2015
We stayed 2 nights, everything was great! The cabanas suites are across the street from the casino, the room was very clean and quiet. It's just like a block away from Freemont Street. Highly recommended!!! We will be back!!

Ok for the price and locationPosted Mar 28, 2015
Staff was helpful and friendly. Stayed in the Jr. Cabana room it was ok, nothing special. It was a place to sleep that was about all I can say about it.

Convenient location away from the noise.Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Close to Fremont Experience, but far away enough from the noise.
Cons: Bathroom needs updating in the Tower rooms.
Location: Walking distance to Fremont and one block to Container Park. Easy access to the Deuce bus to access the Strip.
I booked a king size bed but got double beds instead. Since it was just an overnight stay, I didn't change it as it took a lot of time just to check in.

Las Vegas DowntownPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Le prix et la situation
Cons: Insonorisation des chambres pour ceux qui se couchent tôt
Location: Las Vegas downtown

Great for the price.Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Check in speed and altitude.
Like the location, easy walking distance to freemont street experience. Only 2 issue we had: first ask for 1 King and got 2 queen beds. Not a big deal. Second is it seemed like when we checked in (Sunday night) they were upset that we booked through Expedia. Might of just been me? Then (Wednesday) I tried to add one more day and they wanted to charge a lot more for the room. So booked it on Expedia at a great price. Later (Wednesday) tried to check in for the extra day (Thursday), they said I couldn't because we booked through a 3rd party. She said if you would have booked through us it wouldn't be a problem. (Again seemed upset that we booked 3rd party) told us we would have to do it early Thursday morning "to make sure we got the same room" I think with the technology today it souldnt be that hard to make sure we got the same room. Maybe not? Everything worked out fine. Just 2 small issues. Will look around a little more the next time. But would go back.

Good for a cheap stay in a good locationPosted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Price, location and huge room.
Cons: Cleanliness of room and aircon
Location: Downtown Vegas is awesome, so many new great bars and restaurants that are much more up our alley than the ones on the main strip.
Aircon was set on high and we had no control over it so it felt like a meat locker all night and the (non-smoking) room stunk of cigarette smoke. There were large black hairs all over the bathroom door and the bath filled when you had a shower. I think the TV was among the first color TV's ever manufactured. For the price I guess it was bearable and you cant expect much but theres definitely a few things they could attend to to make it a lot better.

Nice hotel, nice pricePosted Mar 25, 2015
Me and the mrs went to las vegas for our getaway and we stayed at the el cortez. Its not a 5 star, it is an older hotel, but for being an older hotel our room was very clean the casino area is small but was not overly crowded ( we actually won some money) and the cafe cortez has pretty good. We are definitely staying again when we go back

Pictures of the room are not what you receivePosted Mar 24, 2015
Location: Terrible location and the place is off the beaten path so be careful walking home alone at night
Our room was on the fifth floor above the parking garage. The hallway was outdoors and anyone could come up on the stairway and loiter on the railing of the outer corridor. Very unsafe and creepy place to stay. It was pretty scary to see the kind of people who stay at this hotel and they had the nerve to charge an extra fee as resort "fee". What a joke. Stay away from this joint and rent a safer motel across the street.

Nice hotel close to Fremont StreetPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The staff and the location
Cons: The rooms could of been a little cleaner, the bathroom fan was very noisy and our fridge quit working.
Location: The location was great right on Fremont Street, all kinds of things to do and you got all of the Fremont Street Experience!
I had a wonderful time at this hotel/casino, the location was great, the staff was very friendly and ready to help if you wanted help. I loved the location being right on Fremont being able to just walk was a plus and very convenient.
