1 bedroom suitePosted Jul 17, 2014
The hotel room was huge! So clean and comfortable. The cabanas are definitely the way to go if you are planning on spending a day at the pool. They come with a fridge and a fan plus the cool mist jets. We rented ours during the week and all we had to do was spend $100 at the bar.( They serve meals and snacks plus non alcoholic drinks.) Hotel is attached to the mall and planet hollywoods casino so that made it very convenient.

Amazing HotelPosted Jul 15, 2014
We have made it a point to stay at this hotel every time we pass through Vegas, spatious room, straight and to the point staff, spectacular rooms, clean property, good elevators, shopping mall is right there with simple access, amazing location, Can't beat the 1 bed suite rate along with the quality anywhere on the strip. Spend your $$$ here, you will not be dissapointed.

Not one to review, but Elara deserves it!Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The room, the staff, the 24/7 Starbucks ;), the location (connected to Miracle Mile mall which takes you out directly to the strip, the amazing views!
Cons: I can't think of anything that can be improved, it's all amazing!
Location: This hotel is in a great location, it's not necessarily in the craziness of the strip, but is just a couple of steps away from that!
I've never been one to review anything - none the less a hotel stay, but this hotel truly deserves the amazing review. First off, I booked a Studio - Bed and Breakfast. When I checked in, for whatever reason, I was given a 1 bedroom suite and WOW. This room was nothing short of incredible. Full kitchen, including fridge with ice maker. Living room area with not only a TV but also a projector that with the click of a button, the beautiful floor to ceiling window with a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas strip gets blinded and turns into a projector screen that truly makes you feel like you are in the TV. The bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, including feather pillows and comforter. In the room is an amazing jacuzzi that even on my most tired nights, I still found the energy to fill up and relax. The bathroom was great, awesome shower with one of those rain-like shower heads and even had a TV! The hotel staff was SO friendly, I ordered room service breakfast and dinner every day and couldn't have been happier with my hostesses, even the staff who answered the phones were so friendly and helpful! I was eerie at first to book since you don't think of going to Vegas and staying at a Hilton (not to belittle the Hilton chain, but you usually think MGM, Bellagio, Cesars Palace) but this is definitely not your everyday Hilton. It was truly a pleasure to stay here and I will definitely keep this as my go-to Las Vegas hotel in the future!

Good stay but with small issuesPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Good location & don't have to walk thru a smokey casino to get in & out. Good security - have to present key card to get to the lifts up to rooms
Cons: Attention to detail in rooms & address cleanliness. Pushy sales pitch for their timeshare product is annoying. We avoided only as prewarned!
Location: In middle of strip. Spice market buffet in PH handy.
The Elara is in a great position on the strip and has exits either directly onto the strip or into The Miracle Mile shops and from there into Planet Hollywood. We had a one bed suite which was great - big living area with great views (including the Eifel Tower), full kitchen, good sized bathroom with big shower and a washer / dryer and a spa tub in the bedroom. There were four tv's (!?) and also a huge projector screen over the window. Facilities wise it was great. The issues - it wasn't quite as clean as it could have been. I opened the drawers In the bedroom to unpack and found them all to be very dusty and one had a massive hairball in it. I called housekeeping and asked them to clean them whilst we were out but all they seem to have done was remove the hair. I had to wipe them out with a damp cloth myself in the end. Many other areas were dusty and , after knocking something off the bedside table, found a greasy bottle of personal lubricant by the bed head. (Gross!!!!). The towels weren't too great - they left you covered in fluff yet the edges were sharp. I took a bowl out of the kitchen cupboard and found dried on rind of some type stuck to it. There were protruding screws from some of the doors? Just small things - lacking in attention to detail. Also felt a bit grasping to charge $10 a day for wifi when so many other places give it to guests for free. Beware sales pitch on arrival in the guise of a welcome pack. They want to flog you their vacation timeshares!!
