“Moved for the worse”

I chose this hotel because I was attending the West Coast Conference tournament and knew this hotel was within walking distance of the Orleans Arena. When I went to check in, I was informed that they had "overbooked" and moved some of the guests to another property about 6 miles away. The new place was very nice, but the main reason to stay at the Emerald Suites Cameron was location. The staff was very rude as if I was putting them out because they had overbooked their hotel, and so I know there is one less place that I will ever consider staying in Vegas. While I was at the other place on the Strip there was another guest that was also moved and he didn't have a car and needed to use a taxi to get back and forth to the games, I feel that no hotel should have put anyone into this situation.

My wife and I traveled to Vegas for a birthday weekend with another couple. Emerald Suites Cameron had two bedroom condos for a terrific price, so we booked it. The room was clean and in good condition. It held all 4 of us in comfort. It was near enough to the strip for Friday and Saturday nights' fun, and right across the street from the Orleans, where I caught a movie one of the days while everyone else rested. Had this been a trip with the kids, we would have used the kitchen to save even more money on meals, but as it was all adults, we actually only cooked one meal - a nice breakfast - there. I really enjoyed the stay, and will definitely stay there again.

the hot water raninout in the shower my daugther that is 7years old had to set in a towel while waiting for the maintence man to come and fix it he said it would take an hour to heat up again i have never had this happen to us before

Will definitely look into staying here again. Great Location, very close to the Strip yet far enough for a peaceful nights sleep.

“Good hotel for the price”

We had a very good stay. The room was clean, with all the things we were looking for. Right accross the street is New Orleans, with all the things you are looking in Las Vegas. The buffet there is just right for the price. As this hotel, as well. No complains.

“Stay here a mile off the strip - relax and save money!!!”

My husband and I just got back from a 6 day trip to Las Vegas and stayed here the entire time. It was a great experience, very good value for the money and I much preferred it over staying in a hotel room for that amount of time. We were able to buy groceries and eat breakfast, lunch and many snacks there - thus saving a bunch of money on the vacation. The laundry room was very convenient - never saw a lot of people there. We were upgraded to a two bedroom so that we could be on the first floor at no cost. (There are no elevators and it is three floors). It is like a small apartment - nice kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and living room. It was clean but not fancy. Air conditioning worked great the whole time we were there. The kitchen has plates, glasses, silverware, microwave, stove, fridge and dishwahser, but no cooking pans or paper products. The pool was very small and not heated, but the hot tub was hot. If you are planning on going with another couple in the two bedroom, the living room furniture is sparse - 1 couch with end tables, coffee table and TV. You would have to use some of the four kitchen chairs if more people wanted to sit in there together. All rooms have balconies, but the ones on the first floor have chest high adobe walls around them so you can't see much. If you can do steps, the balconies on the other floors have metal railings and are nicer. No balcony furniture is furnished.

“Average motel”

Hotel is average with a kitchenette, clean, air con is good. The only thing I didn't like they took a credit card imprint of your card and made you sign it, claiming they need it to protect them from any property damage. Another problem was they took down your driver license info. What if the employee is dishonest or info got stolen, then you have ID theft in your hand. I would rather pay more staying somewhere else than risking with ID theft problem - it's not worth couple bucks saved.

Personal was very nice,have stayed at the hotel several times and had excellent service,is an older apartment hotel across the street from the Orleans

“Not an end destination.”

I needed a suite, the price was good, the front desk people were great to us, but if I was trying to impress someone I wouldn't go here. The rooms were fairly dark and needed some repairs/other updating. But, the best laundry room I've ever seen in a hotel.
