My Las Vegas Adventure

Posted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Coffee in room. I get up early and the only available coffee before 6AM was a looooong walk thru the casino and upstairs to the Krispy Kreme shop.
Had a great time visiting Las Vegas and nearby attractions.

Just me....needed a break

We always stay at the Excalibur. Older hotel in a good area with easy access to several connecting hotel/casinos. Not fancy, but some rooms remodeled. Always clean, nice pool. Resort fee mandatory; includes Wifi, free phone calls to lower 48, pool, gym, newspaper.... Walgreens close by.

Nice hotel, family friendly

Pros: Decor, location, overall theme of the hotel, accessibility to tours, The Castle Walk with economical food choices
Cons: The WiFi connections. We brought our tablet, but couldn't use it most of the time.
Location: Close to other great casinos and shopping
Had a very pleasant stay. Nice hotel, good location, good variety of gambling options including the 1 cent machines we play.

Okay hotel to just sleep at

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Overall it was okay but if you don't like cigarette smoke then I would recommend staying elsewhere. The other hotels just seemed to have better air ventilation.

No Wi-Fi???

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: The pillows were nice and soft
Cons: remodel the whole hotel
I clearly feel that they PHOTOSHOPPED the pictures on the website to make it appealing. I paid a little more money for a "Modern King Room" and was very disappointed. The only thing that looked like it had been modernized was the counter top in the bathroom and the bed's headboard fixture. I actually couldn't believe that there was NO WI-FI. They still have the Ethernet cord that you have to connect to your laptop. There was also black scuff marks on the yellow textured wall paper.
