Not bad for the price I paid through 'a 3rd party'

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Maintenance.
Location: We were just passing through. It is away from all the craziness of The Strip and easily reached from the freeway.
You need to drive all the way around the hotel to get to the entrance for hotel registration. If you want shade for your car, the garage is free, but you have to walk all the way through the casino to get to the hotel elevator and registration desk, so you have to haul your luggage through all the machines. The bed was good. The TV had a fair number of channels. The bathroom was clean, but the tub faucet was hard to shut off and the tub and sink drains were slow. I showered standing in about 5 inches of soapy water that didn't empty out until several minutes after I'd finished. The people were pleasant and helpful. There was a pool and a movie theater if you weren't interested in gambling. We were on the tenth floor, with the pool right below us, but other than that, the view was mainly just dirt lots and roofs.

Pleasantly Surprised!

Pros: Nice pool. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Good Value
Cons: Pool towels could be out by pool. Buffet area was a little dirty(walls behind tables) Casino slots don't pay enough to have fun.
Location: The location was close to freeway, easy to get around and close (driving) to shopping, grocery and liquor stores. Not far from the strip.
I was very nervous about this booking because of the mixed reviews. We booked this hotel as a smaller, more cost effective option for a nearby event. We were very pleased! We were able to check-in hours early, and any request was accomodated quickly by friendly, attentive staff. It was small enough that everything was close for a member of our group that has difficulty walking. The beds were very comfy, and our room was kept very clean. The pool area was nice and never crowded(it was very hot). You have to go to the front desk to get towels, but it's not far. We ate in every restaurant but the steak place, and we were happy with the food and service. The mexican restaurant was our favorite! Wifi was a little patchy and slow, but most hotels with free wifi have the same issue. The only negative was that the slots in the casino were so tight, no one in our group could even win enough to play for a few minutes. I could have thrown my money on the floor walking back from dinner and had the same effect. We didn't see anyone win anything in the 5 days we stayed. For me, it didn't matter since that was not why we were there, so by the second day, I just quit playing. Others in our group went elsewhere to gamble, but it would have been nice to have a little fun in our own hotel. We did see a movie in the attached theater.

Pros: Location was nice
Cons: Stock the rooms and fix the AC.
Location: Good close to everything.
Started nice but when we got to the room the AC did not work very well. After further inspection of the room we where missing pillows and towels.

Basic hotel services. Hotel staff not anxious to help with anything but the casino staff were all friendly, real people.

Nice hotel with good boat parking availability.

Pros: Boat parking.
Nice, small room. Bathroom was clean although the bathtub paint is peeling off. Food in the restaurants is OK so you don't need to go anywhere else. A little far from the strip. Good boat parking if going to the lake.

So and So

Loved the casino, loved the staff. However, I couldn't stand the stench of our room. It smelled like cigarettes, my clothe/luggage smelled like cigarettes after check out. We got the "smoking room" cause all "non smoking" rooms were taken but I just didn't imagine it to smell that bad.
