Surprisingly Great

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: * Restaurants serve cheap and good food * Rooms are very comfortable and modern * Casino area is good * Staff is great
Cons: The only bad thing is maybe the distance and the outside of the hotel but at the end they are minor things that get overlooked really fast.
Location: Not much to do around the casino
The first thing that surprised us is how far the hotel was from the strip. The outside of the hotel was like not as pleasant as the strip hotels, however, once we got into the hotel we were really surprised how clean, what a great staff they had and how the rooms were clean and modern. WIFI is free (You have to agree to pay $5.99 per day which gets waived once you check out). Restaurant has a $3.99 full breakfast (Eggs, meat, hashbrowns and toast) and buffet was $6.99 for lunch!. Can't beat that. We traveled with an infant so we requested a crib (No charge) At the end of the day we completely overlooked the distance to the strip as we were happy. We are looking forward to staying at this hotel in our next visit.

Pros: every thing we needed was right there, didn't need to drive to find a nice place for meals
Cons: nothing needs improving as far as we could tell
Location: shopping was very convenient we both had Doctor appointments and had no trouble finding where we needed to be
very accessible to the freeway, easy off and on, no trouble finding where we needed to go

shabby rooms

Posted Sep 21, 2014
We arrived late on a Saturday evening. The ground floor is covered by a depressing slot machine hall, but we finally found the reception in the far corner. The room is shabbier than most motels I stayed in - e.g. the bed is just a frame with a matress on, not even a headboard, the wallpaper is scratched and dirty, the bathroom simple and needs to be updated. Not dirty, just shabby.

Quick stop on way to the Grand Canyon

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!
Cons: guest service, number one!!! Cleanliness. rooms need to be updated
Location: nice area outside of Las Vegas
Booked this room because of the price. Stayed two separate nights. First night was nice but when we returnd 2 days later, we were not given the room we booked. Had to return to the front desk, was treated very rudely and told that because we booked through Expedia, that did not guarantee what we booked and that was the only room they could give us. There was also no manager on until 10 am the next morning. Also at the same time I was at the desk, another man was on his 2nd room that was given to him and unclean! He was told that he would have to wait and have housekeepinig clean it. It was 10pm. Our bathroom floor was filfthy with spots and hair/furballs. The hallways smelled of dog pee also. I know things could be a lot worse but I have NEVER been to a hotel that didnt make it a priority to acccomodate their guests no matter how the room as booked.

Found comfort/rest here at Fiesta!

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: The caring, honesty and integrity of the hotel staff.
Cons: Maybe a charter bus to the Las Vegas Strip for those unfamiliar with the area, or are nervous to drive, hehe.
Location: Galleria Mall was nearby, great shopping.
I came to Henderson on family emergency, I had to drive 7 hours, and was scared to drive. I took care of my business and had to return home, but was again frightened to get back to driving. I stayed at Fiesta until I could muster up the courage to drive back. So a had a mini vacation. We enjoyed the pool, food and they also had a theater. I didn't have to drive for my morning coffee, because Starbucks was also on site! My daughter lost her brand new Bluetooth speaker, and she called back to inquire if it had been left in the room. She was told to call back the next day, when she did, Fiesta staff said they had found it and would mail it back to her! Unheard of! Also there was a very special waitress that spoke to my son, and encouraged him.

A La Carte

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and quick service.
The hotel room was pleasant, comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful, and the experience was quite acceptable. However, everything is a la carte. There was no breakfast nor any refrigerator. You had to go out to meals, which isn't that bad, but unexpected. Also, there is a hotel exit tax of around $12/day. These unexpected costs added up and cost a lot more than the advertised price. Still, I would recommend this hotel. There are additional amenities (beside gambling) such as pools, spas, etc.

Cons: Expedia hotel service charge did not match actual hotel service charge. The hotel service charge was actually higher by a couple dollars a day.
Nice room and very quiet in spite of being near ice and soft drink machines. Staff excellent. Food o.k. Casino well ventilated and covered parking a big plus for extreme heat during the day. Overall good experience.
