A La Carte

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and quick service.
The hotel room was pleasant, comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful, and the experience was quite acceptable. However, everything is a la carte. There was no breakfast nor any refrigerator. You had to go out to meals, which isn't that bad, but unexpected. Also, there is a hotel exit tax of around $12/day. These unexpected costs added up and cost a lot more than the advertised price. Still, I would recommend this hotel. There are additional amenities (beside gambling) such as pools, spas, etc.

Cons: Expedia hotel service charge did not match actual hotel service charge. The hotel service charge was actually higher by a couple dollars a day.
Nice room and very quiet in spite of being near ice and soft drink machines. Staff excellent. Food o.k. Casino well ventilated and covered parking a big plus for extreme heat during the day. Overall good experience.

Pros: Dining was very good. Easy access to freeways.
Hotel was close to family living in Henderson. Price for room was reasonable for our 6 days.

Hotel was average. We got to our hotel room late and were exhausted from our long drive only to check into our room and have a crying/barking dog in the next room to us! We did not get good sleep so that was disappointing.

needs and upgrade

Pros: staff was very pleasant and cafe Fiesta has excellent fresh made food
Cons: decor, the entire hotel is very dark overall. it does not match the Fiesta name
Location: without a car, you're dead in the water
the room i had clearly had not been repainted/repapered. my room was on the third floor. my mother's room on the fourth floor was much brighter and had been repainted/repapered. the furniture was the same only the decor in my room was very dark. i heard many people in the elevator complain that they lacked hot water. they were all on floors 5 and up. the casino floor was average at best, very dark, which is the opposite of what the name Fiesta would imply. service was excellent and the staff very friendly. the best part of the stay was cafe fiesta which was excellent. the food was all fresh and the pancakes are amazing

Pros: Positive
Cons: Staff at front desk to answer professional, respectful questions in regards to my stay. Manager is only person who can assist with answers.
Location: Stores, restaurants and basis necessities.
Manager at Front Desk is very professional and extended my stay due to needing it.
