In the heart of the stripPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Nice eatery, restaurants and a reasonable breakfast quick stop.
Location: Perfect location mid strip. The Flamingo allows east exit directly to the strip.
The Flamingo is my favorite Las Vegas Hotel and I've stayed at several. Nice renovated rooms, clean and the best part is the lovely outdoor space with flamingos, beautiful landscaping, and a large waterfall pool.

Very averagePosted May 21, 2015
Would not recommend, can't believe I stayed here after staying at Encore and Venetian- this hotel is a dump and outdated , elevators barely worked and food was average.

middle of the strip, excellent location, very nicePosted May 20, 2015
Pros: hotel is older, but kept in very good condition, cleanliness is the most important for me and the hotel rooms were
Cons: flooring needs some updating, both carpets and floors in the washrooms in the rooms
Location: location was great, could walk and see everything, the dancing fountains were across the street, the volcano was just up the road, Denny's not far.
staff very attentive, room clean, bed very comfortable, nice view, breakfast buffet was good and the grounds were nice, well kept, flamingo's. Had a great time.

view wall,HORRIBLE,laminate floor,HORRIBLEPosted May 20, 2015
Pros: Pool itself (not services) gardens, accessability of the strip, great location.
Cons: floor in room, floor in bathroom, larger tv's
Location: great location, in the middle of the strip
Pool - expensive and service poolside was terrible, but otherwise nice, service was HORRIBLE for the lounge that we paid for. Check-in was way to long with 5 people working with the ability to have about 15. Wanting to check in and was asked WAY to many questions, this should all be done at the time of making reservations. TV's are to small for the size of the rooms. Bathroom was VERY outdated and not very clean. Don't know why other pools were not open, it was way to crowed at the one adult pool.

HotelPosted May 20, 2015
Pros: pool and Margaritaville.
Cons: see above (customer relations).
Location: good location, close to much of strip and points of interest.
hotel in terrible condition (deferred maintenance) and good shops. We also left an item in our room (totally our fault) but the follow up in trying to get anyone to look for it was ridiculously futile. As a result either the new room occupant walked off with it or a staff person!

Hotel was a circus, buffet was overpriced $26 eachPosted May 19, 2015
The hotel was a circus the day of check in, but I ended up loving it, the pool party was great; lots of hot bodies; the drinks were $15 each at the pool and breakfast buffet was $26 each which is crazy

There are much nicer hotels on the strip.Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: The room was a nice size and there was laminate wood flooring instead of carpeting.
Cons: The staff could be more concerned about customers. Plus, the environment is not desirable at all.
Location: The monorail is connected to the hotel which is good. Caesar's is near which is nice. I would stay there next time.
The room was clean and a good size, but the rest of the hotel is less than desirable. The hotel staff are not customer focused. When I visit Las Vegas again, I will choose another hotel.

Don't stay here!Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfy. The location is good.
Cons: STAFF! Hire people who aren't miserable. The hotel should be completely renovated.
Location: Not the only hotel in a good location. There are many better choices.
The Flamingo is old, but that doesn't have to mean terrible... But in this case, it does. The elevators are in serious need of maintenance. The carpets are ripped and people were tripping on them. The hallways stink of smoke. My room was ok. But the shower was disgusting. I felt dirtier having been in it. The worst part of my stay was interacting with the horrible staff! The hotel is so horrible, even the staff are sad to be there!

'Non-Smoking' is a joke.Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Nothing. I didn't like a single thing about this hotel.
Cons: 'Non-smoking' rooms could be non-smoking.
Location: Everything. The location is great, the hotel is not.
We stayed one evening at The Flamingo and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The room was aged, there were zero amenities, the carpets were sagging and wrinkled and worst of all, you couldn't escape clouds of smoke anywhere on our 'non-smoking' floor which conveniently offered up ash trays outside the elevators. I woke up feeling like I smoked a pack of cigarettes myself. One member of our party ended up having an asthma attack. We called the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything unless they caught someone smoking despite there being smoke pouring into our room, worst of all in the bathroom. We headed down to the lobby and outside to the pool to get some fresh air and encountered MORE SMOKE.
