The Staff was fabulous!

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: The rooms could be updated.
Location: The location is great-the monorail is right there along with other hotels within walking distance!
We had to change rooms two times after checking in due to air conditioning and plumbing issues. The rooms are ok but dated. However every one on staff from the different restaurants or bars or front desk were fabulous! I enjoyed interacting with all of them! The staff and location make this a good place to stay.

Pros: proximity to the Monorail station
Always a great time, The Flamingo reminds me of what Vegas used to be 20 years ago. Bugsy would still be proud.

had to book a hotel and most were sold out

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: tear down the hotel and build a new one
Location: location was right on the strip across from Caesars.
thought the Flamingo might be OK as it was on the strip and was a famous hotel. I have not been to Vegas in probably 12 years. Wow the hotel was disappointing. just old and seedy feeling. I had to make a last minute booking and most were sold out or the good ones with rooms were $550 or more. Flamingo was $325 and just had to take it. I have stayed in nicer rooms for $80.
