Pros: proximity to the Monorail station
Always a great time, The Flamingo reminds me of what Vegas used to be 20 years ago. Bugsy would still be proud.

Should be less than $100 for this room

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Very old and outdated and way overpriced! And the $30 or so hotel fee is ridiculous, On top of the $300 price for the room.

Close to the Sands Convention Space

Posted Jan 23, 2015
The old hotel is going thru some minor renovations on the game floor, so lots of caution tape. One of the pools is under construction so the pool view , is a bit of an eye sore.Hopefully the carpet on the 27 th floor is on the list as its in pretty bad shape. But it's on the strip, so if you like to stay on the Flamingo side of the street, it's still a fun choice. If you have the right attitude to stay in Bugsy's old place ,you can still have a couple of laughs and a good time.I was able to walk to the trade show at the Sands ,about 15 minutes walk, so saved money, got my cardio in ,by not taking a taxi.

Built in the 1950's and never renovated.......

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Great Location in the middle of the Strip
I stayed at the Flamingo because there was very little else available on a big convention weekend. This place is so RUN DOWN and so are all of the employees......... Maybe the re good people but the've had no training. Not a good place to stay unless you believe Motel 6 is a 5 Star Property.....

Reservations only guarantee a room.

Posted Jan 23, 2015
A reservation only guarantees a room not necessarily the one you booked. For example, we booked a Luxury non smoking room but when we arrived only double queen smoking were avalible. The room and floor stunk bad.
