Nice location on the Strip but run down conditionPosted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: It's location on the Strip
Cons: Overall condition of the hotel
Location: Good location and many casinos and restaurants to choose from
Lobby was decent, but when we stepped off the elevator on our floor it was very run down from the walls, baseboards and overall appearance. We were a little scared to go into our room but were fairly pleased to see it was ok and the bedding was decent. The bathroom was quite run down but clean. The elevator was very scary as it felt at times like we were falling. When contacted they said they were due to be replaced but they couldn't offer any solution beyond that so we kept using it hoping each time it would work properly. The Valet parking alternated between two areas and was not too organized which was confusing to us and I assume many others.

Can't wait to go back!Posted Mar 26, 2015
Stayed in the high roller Go room. Fantastic room, clean, updated and great view. Check in and out was easy. Staff friendly. Perfect location center of strip. Love the pools surrounded by palm trees. Have nothing but good things to say. Can't wait to go back!

Great location!Posted Mar 25, 2015
This was my first time in Vegas the location, amenities and services available were great. Our flight did not leave until the evening an the hotel has a service to hold on to our luggage until we were ready to pick it up to leave the airport. Even though check in was a nightmare (we waited in line to check in for over 1 hour- be sure to bring your patience and a partner in crime to bring you alcohol during your long wait) the rest of the hotel staff was great, they were cheerful and super helpful!

Flamingo hotelPosted Mar 25, 2015
The day before my wedding they made me change rooms due to construction. I was on my way out the door to meet a friend for breakfast but they told me it had to be done within the hour. Would not tell me the room I was moving too and made me go downstairs to get the keys. There was a long line up that I had to wait in and finally I went right to the desk to tell them my situation and still gave me a hard time. When I had finished moving all of my luggage dress and husbands suit to the knew room there was a phone call and the man had tgen asked if I needed help and then continued to say he was going to bring the keys up to me. Why would they not tell me when I as checking in that I would have to move because of construction. The front desk had mentioned they didnt know about the construction.

A lot of hidden fees and hidden rulesPosted Mar 24, 2015
Cons: Pool closing time and the fact that you can't take purchased Flamingo food into the pool area.
The rooms & food were ok. However, you cannot take food you purchased from Flamingo into the Flamingo pool area. They want you to specifically buy food from the Flamingo pool area. The Jacuzzi didn't work and the pool closes before the sun goes down. Very early , like 5 pm. Some parts of the hotel need updating. We more than likely will not stay here again.

The classic is still a classic.Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Location, price, and fast Wi-fi.
Cons: One thing that could be improved is better access to wall outlets.
Location: LINQ Center can be accessed directly from the hotel. There is a bus ticket vending machine in front of Harrah's making travel cheap and easy.
For the price and location, it's hard to beat Flamingo. You can still see elements of it's historic past, but better yet, it.s now a short walking distance to the new LINQ Center, as well as the hottest intersection on the strip. The room was clean and modern. WiFi was plenty fast, and the wall-to-ceiling windows are always a nice feature.

March Madness in VegasPosted Mar 23, 2015
Cons: Casino and common areas were in terrible shape (dented walls, missing trim and panels, one elevator that did not work all weekend)
Location: Center of the strip = good location
Old school style - Flamingo. Unfortunately the old part is correct. Time for some upgrades on the casino floor. Rooms were nice, pool was above average. A good place to stay if you don't want to break the bank.
