Not bad.Posted Mar 13, 2014
Clean rooms, comfortable beds. The new decor is nice. Front desk staff was rude. Hallways are still not updated. The pool looked nice but wasn't open yet, that was a dissapiontment. I would stay again. It's good for the price.

Good hotel location on the strip.Posted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: Floors are much improved, bed was great, room decor was simple and nicely done.
Location: Location is the highlight of this hotel, you can walk to several different hotels within 15 - 20 minutes.
I stayed here 3 years ago and swore I would never spend my money on this place again. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room was updated more simple and clean. I did not like the fact that I had to pay $54 to leave (resort fee??). I did have breakfast there one morning and it was very good. (the buffet) The construction right now next door is an inconvenience but it did not disturb me in the room. The bed was great! i would recommend this hotel for location with the caveat that you have a resort fee added when you leave.

Room with a view, but no pool for you!!Posted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: Great location on the strip! A piece of nostalgic Vegas, reasonably priced. The pools are great, just double check they will be open!
Cons: The large shower in our room sadly had relatively poor water pressure, and was temp. controlled so you could not get it quite hot!
Location: Our Deluxe Go room even had a view of Ceasar's Palace and the Bellagio fountains! Nearby, O'Sheas was fun, and Hash House a Go Go had mad good brunch
We have stayed at the Flamingo in the past for the location and the great pool area. This time just before we went (for my birthday), we found out the pool area was closed! When we booked, the website still said it was open year-round, and now it was too late to change!! When I shared my deep disappointment with the person checking us in, he stated that the small pool area on the upper deck (quite small!) was opening the next day, and that we were welcome to use the pool at Paris, a 10 minute walk away. The pool at Paris was large, and not crowded, so we did go there 3 days in a row. The nice lady at Paris even walked with us to show us the way to the elevators.

ImpressedPosted Mar 13, 2014
Cons: Complimentary breakfast
Location: Close to all u would want to visit
I always love staying at the Flamingo. Rooms are comfortable, clean and have a great view. The Central location allows an easy walk to Caesar's , Bellagio, Paris, Venetian and many more spots. Staff is friendly and accommodating. My 5th trip staying there and am never disappointed.

Needs upgradesPosted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Good news was the staff was friendly and helpful and signage clear and easy to follow. With so many hotels I wouldn't stay here again.
Lobby and shops are newly remodeled and attractive but when we got off the elevator the first thing to greet us was shabby carpet that was badly wrinkled and presented a risk to older folks of falling. Not wrinkled in just in one spot but the full length of the way to our room. Our room was fine. Elevator panel was loose when we pressed the floor button and the brass finish was badly tarnished and scratched..
