Very nice hotel. But very long lines for checking in but if you get their rewards card (it's free) that put you in shortened lines

Vegas!

Was a great experience! First time to vegas and loved the flamingo! Room could of been a little cleaner and staff more helpful but overall was a good experience. Would definently come back.

Great location, average hotel.

The Flamingo is in a great location on the strip, however cleanliness was an issue. The bathroom mirrors has marks of who knows what on them, lots of dust and little hairs I found in nooks and crannies around the room, and vomit in the hallway. Granted, the vomit was cleaned up by the time I got back to my room a few hours later. It's an "okay hotel". I didn't hate it, buy I won't be staying there again. I'll pay more money to stay at the Mirage, Caesar's Palace, or the Palms. The Flamingo just didn't do it for me.

Good hotel right in center of strip

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Flamingo Las Vegas is an old school hotel right in the center of the strip. On the cheaper side but very decent. Looks slightly dated but a good price and fabulously fun pool! Love the 21 and up option. The bird sanctuary is a good distraction for hot afternoons.

Centrally located at the strip

Cons: Showers can be more powerful.
Location: One of the best locations at the strip.
Good location, modern facilities, good choice of food. Showers were not powerful but overall good value for money.

Rude staff

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Rude staff .. not willing to help you at all, did not make you feel welcome at all. Check out was just as bad. Hidden fees at check in, shower was terrible, bed frame made out of tin.. not the best thing to sleep on... on an upside.. Over 21 pool was great. But overall not a great experience.

Amazing location.

Check in and out was a night mare. Waited in line forever to check in (we were a little early) she got us set up and said there would be an early check in fee and come back later to see if rooms are available. When we came back waited in like again for a long time a different lady said fee would be waived if you had a rewards card. So waited in line for a long time to get that card just to wait in line again to check in. Rediculous. And don't get me started on checking out. Waited in liNE for at least 20 mins for the lady to tell me to get in a different line (a computer over, why she couldn't just check me out I don't know) BUT, the hotel itself was nice and the location was prime! Litterally right in the middle of the strip. Great price too. The pools are nice (a bit crowded but that's given) the rooms are basic. I would probably stay here again and just prepare myself for the long wait to check in and out.
