Hotel in the Heart of Fremont Street

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Location: The Four Queens is right in the middle of Fremont street with all it`s entertainment choices. Casinos, Restaurants, Shows,...Experience Fremont Street
Clean comfortable nicely appointed room, IN ROOM COFFEE(YEA!!!), in room safe, excellent and helpful room attendents, FAST FLAWLESS ELEVATORS, good price, good location, good place to stay. Request the South tower if you want quiet, the North Tower is adjacent to the Fremont Street Experience, my North Tower room came with shampoo, soap, lotion, and ear plugs(2 sets). I didn`t need the earplugs but they were available and provided by the hotel. The Internet in my room was iffy, it would sporadically quit. I was able to do everything I needed to do, internet wise, but a business traveller might not be so fortunate. The heat/ac controls in the room didn`t seem to control much, but I was comfortable. I`ll stay at the Four Queens again

Showing its age

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: The location is good and I still enjoy the restaurant to some degree.
Cons: A lot . It just needs a complete facelift but at least they have not gone to the blackjack pits with go go dancers and loud music like some .
I have stayed at the 4 Queen many times but it is just getting pretty worn. The carpet in the room was torn and wore in several spots and the bathrooms are small and starting to get pretty shabby. It was hard to turn the bathtub water off and the shower area needed cleaning and some regrouting. The hallways just seem old and worn out. The staff at the registration were nice and friendly but some of the card dealers were just rude and when one of my buddies asked to speak to a pit boss about it nothing was done. The people working the cash register at the restaurant were rude and argumentive but the waiters were good. I usually stay there simply because of the price and I always liked Magnolias restaurant but I am beginning to rethink this. Probably I will head back to the Gold Nugget next trip.

In the middle of downtown

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: update the carpets in the halls, general update needed.
Location: In the middle of the downtown area and all the attractions there.
Pleasant stay in the middle of the Downtown area. Old hotel, housekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean.

Never stay again.

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: The casino and the food was good.
Cons: Update the rooms, or inform the customer that there is no air conditioning in the north tower and you can't control the temperature.
Location: The location was great and easy to get around. I loved Fremont street and easy to get to buses.
When we arrived we were given a room in the north tower and after walking through the busy casino with our luggage, the room was really noisy so requested a different room. We had to take our luggage back through the casino to find out that they put us back in the north tower only different side. We stayed in the room for a couple days, but it was always hot in the room, so we complained and found out that you can't control the temperature in the north tower. We were moved to the south side and it was better. Everyday we walked in the room had a funny smell and housekeeping never completed the bed making. The electric outlet in the bathroom would short out and had to wiggle the cord to the hair dryer to get it to work. I am not usually a person that complains, but I was very disappointed in the rooms.

Vegas Vacation

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: It was central on Fremont Street
The hotel was okay. First night I had asked to stay on a lower floor, which they did put us on the 1st floor, but right outside our room was the air conditioning unit for the hotel. Next morning asked to move and they moved us to the North Tower on the 18th floor. This room was much quieter and it was okay, except they did not do up our room on day.

4 Queens

No hot water the first day. Difficult to control thermostat. Music from Fremont street a bit too loud after hours. Hotel feels a bit claustrophobic. No decent sports book downtown. Still the overall downtown experience was enjoyable and the place is hopping!
