Pros: I liked the location. Close to all the casinos downtown.
Cons: coffee available in the room
This was my first time staying at the Fremont. I was pleasantly surprised. While it is an older hotel, it was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not large but they were comfortable and had everything you would need. I personally would have liked to have coffee available in the room but there was a Dunkin Donuts in the casino close to the elevators so it wasn't so bad. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again.

Generally OkayPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Inexpensive, right on the strip, Dunkin' Donuts, and the best margarita in town for only 99 cents!
Cons: The buffet was AWFUL. Prime rib was terrible. I would not go back.
Location: It's Fremont Street. EVERYTHING is awesome outside.
No frills. Small rooms, but comfortable. Very loud next to elevator. Not great but not bad. I'd stay again if there weren't so many better options nearby for the same amount of money. I did like that there was no extra surcharge, just a deposit that you get back. No free wifi. No pool, but access to California Casino pool.

Fremont ExperiencePosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Free valet parking, affordable, safes in every room, and located at the Fremont Experience.
Cons: They could at least install coffee pots and refrigerators in their rooms.
Location: Fremont Experience is great entertainment, especially the 1st Friday of each month. There's plenty of casinos within walking distance.
The hotel was okay but not great, a few thing that were a little disappointing. The free valet parking was great, rooms were fairly clean, and most of the staff were kind and helpful. Almost every other hotel I've stayed in had small refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee pots but not here. We requested a refrigerator and a really small on was provided, but no microwave or coffee pot. Bathrooms are a little small but work. Upon check-in our shower/tub had no curtain, notified staff and one was installed. A couple of the electrical outlets were old and worn out, plugs were extremely loose. The activities with the Fremont Experience were awesome, a lot of fun. All in all, not a bad stay!

Stay at Fremont Hotel in Vegas DowntownPosted Jul 18, 2014
Cons: More fresh fruit choices for breakfast.
Location: Good location for street activity. Shows generally too expensive especially if you get far from stage.
Very good hotel, room was quite. Excellent restaurants in Hotel. Played many slots and tables were good. Street activity was entertaining. Treated well by staff.

Nice place to stay.Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Cool walk to other things to do/see at Fremont Experience.
Cons: Room AC is hard to control....You are freezing or too hot, if you try to lower it just a little. Could save a lot on utilities if ac upgraded.
Location: Near some fun stuff when hanging out at hotel, other casinos, shows, restaurants, ect, and easy drive down to main strip for shows or dinner.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Our room was comfortable and the Valet service excellent.

Vegas vacationPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: convenient walking distance to a lot of casinos compared to the strip area.
Location: FREMONT HOTEL DOWNTOWN AREA ..Nightly Fremont experience lite show..stage shows on the mall close by..Booth for event discount tickets nearby.
Had a great time with family...We had a variety of casinos to choose from within easy walking distance. Our Catholic church was 2 blocks away. Easy walking distance. Transportation easy accessible. No really need for a car.

Location was the best part of the Fremont.Posted Jul 3, 2014
This hotel needs an update! Bad smell in hallways. Temps were over 100 outside and the air conditioner in our room couldn't keep the room cool. Elevators need cleaning and they need paint touch ups everywhere! Very disappointed! I won't stay there again.
