Pros: Great friendly locals hotel with many restaurants on site.
Cons: There could be more frequent shuttle busses from The Gold Coast to and from the strip only instead of the the round trip via the Orleans.
Location: Easy access to the hotel by car.The I-15 interstate is handy for trips to the valley of fire and Zion national park.The road network is excellent.
Friendly staff and very easy check in.The casino is well laid out and not as huge and overwhelming like most of the casinos on the strip.The resort fee is a lot less than the strip hotels and is probably more value for money especially with the free shuttle bus to the strip.

Pros: They do a good job overall.
Cons: Address the issue on the resort fee.
Excellent rate for the value of the room, however the so called "resort fee" when checking out reminded me of being taken advanatage of at a carinival. Put the fee in the room rate and stop getting the clients upset with this ad on. This is a resort not a used car lot.

Pros: Clean room. Comfortable. Across the street from my convention hotel. Fun casino games. Friendly staff.
Cons: Safe in the room for valuables. Make sure shower has good water pressure.
Location: Hotel is near the Palms Convention Center and Palms Hotel and the Rio. Fifteen minute ride to the airport.
This was my second stay at the Gold Coast in Las Vegas. The downside: I prefer a room with a tub but it only had a shower but that isn't such a big deal but wish the water pressure on the shower head was stronger. I would also like a safe in the room. The hall is very long and I was quite a distance from the elevator but someone has to end up in that situation. The pluses: The room is very clean. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked properly. The restaurant, Ping Pang Pong is very good with an excellent reputation. The Cortez Room was great dining as well. I bought a package of this hotel plus airfare and saved a bundle in cash. Summary: Just a nice, clean, basic room for a good price. If you are planning to be out and about in LV, you don't need much more. If you're looking for more glamour, it probably isn't for you.

Great choice for value close to the strip. Rooms clean and comfortable. Smaller than the main resorts so offering a more friendly service at the bars and restaurants.

It was an ok stay after the small problem in the beginning with the hotel staff messing up our room recommendations and taking about 45 min to correct their mistake.

When I first arrived I was wary of the place, but as soon as I walked in the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and I was informed I had a refurbished room. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was firm but comfortable. I appreciated the free wifi and free parking. All in all I would definitely stay here next time I visit Vegas!

Really Good Price-Value Hotel. The shuttle transport was a great for going to the strip. Definitely would reserve for a next time.
