BEST FOOD IN VEGASPosted Apr 25, 2013
Pros: Beds were perfect and so was the food
Cons: Everything other than the beds and food
Location: Half a block from Freemont st. better off staying on Freemont instaed
Emailed the manager 2 months before trip to arrange 3 rooms next to each other as we were a party of 6 My wife and i in seperate rooms on our anniversary due to taking friends with us so wanted rooms together.I was assured this was arranged. When we arrived i was in a room 5 rooms away from my wife and another pair in our group were on a different floor completely. Reception didnt care! No kettle, No safe, Air condition didnt work, No ipod station in our room. The beds however were the most comfortable ive stayed in. The food in the Grill is the cheapest and best food in vegas. , I believe they are under new management soon (can only be a good thing)

South Miami Beach in Vegas!Posted Apr 19, 2013
Pros: Great Suites & killer pool area!
Cons: Hardcore Porn on channel 69 (unblockable)
Location: Right next to HardRock Hotel!
All suites! Great price. Loved the pool with private cabanas, featuring ceiling fans, lights, refrigerators, etc... Free waters each day a nice touch too. PET-FRIENDLY too. Feels like South Miami Beach & great location next to HardRock! Only drawbacks: transvestites walking around, $4 for coffee, milk, etc, $6 for toast or oatmeal and NASTY porn on channel 69, with no way to block it. Bad for families. BUT, I'd stay again & recommend to others!

Closed april 14th for a reasonPosted Apr 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Online pictures make it look good. Hotel was set to close 2 days after my stay. The iron I requested for 2 days ended up ruining my new dress with tags still on. Iron was so old and got black resin on my dress and is unremoveable. No cocktail waitress, have to go to a smelly bar with local drunks. Blah.

going to miss this landmarkPosted Apr 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was amazing. Everyone from the housekeeping, front desk, restaurant, and bar was so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were kept amazingly clean considering what I was expecting for the price. Not to mention comfortable. I could have used an extra pillow, but by the time I was retiring at night, frankly I was too tired and lazy to ask for one - so thats on me & not the hotel. I sincerely hope in the change over in format we are able to retain the security staff & bar staff especially for their above and beyond exceptional service!

Plain and Simple but ComfyPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The rooms are old but kind of remodeled. Comfortable enough. We had dogs with us so we got a room out back by the pool. Convenient for walking the dogs and away from the casino action, but there is a big iron door leading to this wing which slams...and I mean loud...all day and night as people come and go. Tried to get a coffee at the casino bar and was told "I don't have any coffee, but you can buy one at the restaurant." Really?! A vegas first.

Closing hotelPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay was surprisingly pleasant once we found out they were closing the doors on 4/14/13. Even though the employees knew their days there were over, they were very cordial & accommodating. However, the room they gave us was right next to the hotel sign & inside seemed to be daylight all night long

For the money, this place is just fine. Nothing fancy, just a place to spend the night and get some rest. First room had a strong mildew odor. Called the front desk and they promptly came up and gave me keys to a new room which was just fine. Was there for NAB show which was a couple of miles away. WIFI IN EVERY ROOM

Uhhh..it was okay.Posted Apr 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Convenient to Freemont. Hotel had only bare necessities. No coffee pot, no fridge. Nice little restaurant next to casino.
