“great hotel for couples.”

Overall the hotel was great. The only thing was the restroom, it could use a little tlc. But great location. Had a great time. I would book a room here again.

“GOLDEN GATE CASINO ROCKS!”

Other than a small "hot water" problem, which they moved us to another room....the rooms were just perfect for us. The atmosphere of the Golden Gate Casino was fabulous! I had a wonderful Fremont Street experience! Highly recommend the Golden Gate!

“Check your reservations”

Everything with the hotel was fine, the reservations we made were not kept by the hotel the first night, they I'd move us to another hotel and comped the first night but it was a serious in convince for me and my family.

“Great Hotel for anyone”

I took my mom for her 71st B-day and she had a blast. Although the bed was very comfortable it was too high for her to climb on. She needed a stepping stool to get on the bed. Her arms and legs are not too strong but that was the only issue she had. The shower is very huge. Being in Vegas I thought the noise would be heard in the rooms. Our room was very quiet. Overall, my mom had a great time, and it takes a lot to please my mom. I guess the older they get the more they are set in their minds of what they want. lol. she never stayed at Golden Gate before, but this will not be her last. Thank you to all the staff at Golden Gate, my mom had a wonderful time. We will see you next year. Aloha and Mahalo from Hawaii.....

“Great location, great price!”

What a wonderful location! This old hotel has been renovated and updated. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.

“Awesome stay”

Love staying at the Golden Gate...it's changed a bit since I've been here last but all for the better. I love the location in Downtown Las Vegas...easy access to everything. Valet and self parking options are good. Rooms are a little small but hey, who really spends time in the room anyway? It's a little noisy on the Fremont Street side...ask for a room facing Main Street for a little more quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

“great place”

this hotel is an older one and the rooms are a bit smaller than expected but it puts you right were the action is and the staff and the up keep was as nice as can be expected ..i would stay at the golden gate again

“Very Impressed”

Recently remodeled with carpet, paint, mattresses, flat screen tv, and fixtures. Very noisy if you stay on the Fremont st. side. Was very happy with room and staff. Casino very clean as well.
