Great location

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: The location was fantastic
Cons: Rooms need a major overhaul
Great location. Right on Fremont street. Rooms were old, small and not very clean. The rooms were advertised at a reasonable rate a night but we were slapped with an exceptionally high "resort fee" on top. I asked them what that fee offered and they said "wireless internet and free parking". It wouldn't have been so bad if they had been more upfront with resort fee when I booked. I also don't understand how they can justify their resort fee since they have no pool or facilities. They should just charge more for the rooms and drop the ridiculous resort fee.

I know it's Fremont St, but come on!

The bathroom floor had what appeared to be dry crap... they gave us ear plugs for the noise

Old time Vegas- updated

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, updated room
Cons: Hot water took a few minutes to heat- not a huge issue, time to update the hallways a bit.
The room I had was small, but updated. Very clean. Hotel offered ear plugs due to the nightly party of the Fremont Street Experience. The noise was not a factor for me as I chose this hotel specifically because it was at the foot of the Fremont street experience. The restaurant had very good food, although priced higher than other places around. I would happily stay again or recommend to anyone.

Extremely uncomfortable stay on all fronts

Posted Jan 25, 2015
- Room is small, cramped, dirty - A/C doesn't work / can't be controlled, was blaring heat all night - Music went on even LATER than 1 AM on all nights, even away from street, rooms were loud Terrible experience.

Something different.

Honestly if the hotel had newer beds and I wasn't on the side with the stage right outside my window I'm sure it would have been awesome. But it was a little too noisy for my taste and the beds a little too worn in. Hotel had a very nice charm to it other than that and staff were good.

Old restrooms, small rooms, loud because of Fremont street. Had to be there a week and got no sleep. Never will I stay again

Real so-so experience

The rooms are tiny with very dated decor. A large person couldn't fit through the bathroom door which bangs into the toilet when its opened. No impetus to spend a minute in the room. The pit boss took our tables money after the black jack dealer miscalculated and busted. A second dealer gave me a rude comment. But I loved the breakfasts at the Dupars restaurant & they understand service!
