Slitet

Slitet, specielt badrummet på rummet. Wifi/internetet fungerade inte. Dåligt isolerat, mycket högljutt.

Was an ok Hotel. The staff was very nice n helpful.

We checked in thru the valet area nad everything was well thru the checkout. Went to our room and it was smaller than expected. At first appeared to be a broom closet. Just a little bigger. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. If we would have going to be there more than 1 night we would have requested a different room, or changed hotels.

Pros: This Hotel has an interesting history,a free players club and one of the best resteraunts in Las Vegas
Cons: A complimentary breakfast per nite would have been nice.Or even discount meal tickets would have been even better.
Location: It is right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas and right next to the Freemont Experience, which has many shops, live music and casinos.
I stayed for 5 days at the Hotel and it was quaint, comfortable, affordable and convienient to all of the Downtown attractions. All the staff were polite, accommodating and knowledgeable of the surrounding attractions.

I don't know why they charge resort fees, they are not a resort. They do not have a pool or workout room, just a casino.

100 sq ft room

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: lcoation
Cons: Two rooms should be combined to form one.
Golden Gate must be 100 years old. One of the first motels built in Vegas. Great location on Fremont street. However the standards rooms are a bed and about 2 ft on either side. The rest room is 25 - 35 sq ft. No tub, just a tiled 'shower' that is approx 24" wide and 48" long. The room appears modern, nice bed and furnishing. The bathroom is 50 yr old yellow tile, that is not in the best shape. The shower is a rectangle box, that might make the normal become claustrophobic. It you needed a cheap, nice room just to sleep it this would be ok. But if you need space of any kind do not stay here. The manager is a nice guy who is understanding. I imagine he spends more time refunding than anything.

Noisy

Posted Mar 19, 2015
My first night was in one of their unbearably noisy rooms which benefited from the rock stage in Freemont. The next day I asked for a quiet room and they accommodated me. Much better.

Great room, noisy as hell.

Lovely room, great facilities for the price, but our room was on the side which was close to the Freemont Experience stage and the music went in till 1am. ok for us but could be a problem for many guests.

no hot water at night - then no cold water in shower in the morning - head of the bed was broken (box springs) leaning downwards so had to sleep at the foot of the bed

ダウンタウンにあるホテル

Posted Mar 17, 2015
