Our anniversary and Birthday stayPosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Everything was so charming even the gaming floor and staff.
Cons: more outlets and the 3rd floor with airfresheners that smell better
Location: In the middle of it all on Freemont for fun, dinner and dancing.
We were greeted with friendly valet that did not charge us for it. Which is a fantastic thing due to I hate lugging around luggage through parking garages. Then when checking in it was made as easy as possible. The hall ways to the room did smell musty but that is a given with a very old hotel. The charm of the hotel is fantastic and the room was cozy with a modern flair. it did need an extension cord to provide more plugs for cell phone chargers. Over all we loved our stay and the hotel. We will stay again!

AwfulPosted Sep 11, 2014
The only truly good thing about this hotel is that it is on Fremont street for that experience of Vegas.

Good valuesPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Set in a upcoming lively area. Midweek great value for money
Cons: Tea/coffee facilities in rooms.
Location: Freemont is just outside and well worth a visit, if only to realise how many strange people there are in the world or at least in Las Vegas
Hotel in a major redevelopment area but was not a problem. Room very reasonable on Thursday quite a bit more on Friday. View from room grim a very noisy huge aircon plant that was not good for sleep

Excellent "Fremont experience"Posted Sep 3, 2014
We have stayed at a few hotels on and near Freemont over the years. This is definitely our top pick. The staff was extremely helpfull. The room clean and the overall vibe in this hotel is Vegas all the way. We are already planning our next trip in about 6 months and we will most likely be returning. There is nothing better in Vegas than experiencing Freemont street and this hotel allowed us to do this comfortably. There is a 20$ a night resort fee. However you have endless free entertainment right outside your door. Well worth the money.

Labor Day weekend 2014Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: It's in the Fremont area. Vallet guys were great.
Cons: Customer Service at counter and thorough room checking of faucets.
Location: Hogs and Heifers is a fun place to go and Pizza Rock and Georges have great food.
Booked online and when I arrived there was an additional $45 resort fee for 2 night stay, even though the fine print said $20/night which I was reluctant not to see since all the hotels I was looking at were including or stating it as an additional fee up front. When I arrived the gentleman at the counter was not very kind in the discussion about the price misunderstanding in explaining it to me. Shower hot water faucet handle was in need of repair and tile floor felt unclean. And FYI hotel has no roll away beds. I always stay downtown Freemont and will never stay at this location again, and will be reluctant to stay at the "D" since they are owned by the same company. Could not get internet connection

Clean hotel stay right on Fremont St.Posted Aug 28, 2014
We stayed here for one night just to get some shut eye after a night of dancing. We stayed in a non smoking Standard size room. The room was small but very clean although it wasn't modern looking. I was very impressed by the friendly staff.

What is the resort fee for???Posted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: Include some amenities for the resort fee.
Location: Fremont Street Experience
Overall, it was adequate for a hotel of its age. The hotel offers wifi, but as far as I can tell that is it in terms of things that would be covered by a resort fee-no pool, no water, no coffee, no blowdryer. Oh, there is an iron, and in addition to the wifi, perhaps that equals the 22.50 per day resort fee.
