We are thinking of coming to Las Vegas in the fall with a group and we certainly will think about staying at the Golden Nugget and downtown Las Vegas

“A Gem in the Downtown”

Hotel was very clean and renovated. We booked two rooms in non smoking floors in the south tour. One was smoky and one got more smoky as the night went on. Swimming pool and spa were nice. Lots of chairs. Kids can't go in the slide under 48".

“Best Hotel Downtown Hands Down”

Its downtown, not a strip hotel. If you need to go to the strip it is inconvenient if you don't have a car. But if you want to stay at a "strip" quality hotel downtown, the Golden Nugget is the only hotel to choose. Nothing else comes close. The room was spacious and well appointed and nicely done, with flat screen TV. Only real complaint: no free WI-FI service in the room. They charged an extra daily fee. Since this has become a very common free service at most hotels, I was somewhat taken aback. But the room rate was very good, so I suppose there has to be some consideration there. I have stayed at the GN many times over the years and it is always been a good experience.

Our stay at the Golden Nugget was extremely wonderful. We awoke every morning to a majestic view of the mountains and had a wonderful view of the strip and its lights at night from a ceiling to floor window on our floor at night. the Grotto serves the absolute best pasta we have ever tasted! The Golden Nugget offers everything you could imagine from dining to entertainment and also offer a very relaxing atmosphere.

“Best hotel in Downtown Vegas !!”

The Golden Nugget Hotel , situated towards the top end of Fremont St. is the perfect base to enjoy all that downtown Vegas has to offer . I stayed in the South Tower , in a room that was ridiculously big (two queen beds) , luxurious and immaculately clean . The hotel has (I think !) 6 restuarants , of which I ate in three , and they were all great . Oh yes , and there's a shark tank in the middle of the swimming pool.......!!!
