Pros: The staff are helpful and pleasant. Generally, I can check into Rush Tower without ever having to walk through the whole casino with my luggage.
Cons: Lighting in the rooms is a little dim.
Location: Within walking distance of many other casino and Fremont attractions.
I always find the Rush Tower to be an excellent place to stay when Fremont is my desired location. Rooms are nice and this stay had me viewing South toward the Strip so I could see the lights etc right from my room.

Great venuePosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: The Hotel room was excellent.
Cons: They need better ventilation throughout the casino to remove the clouds of smoke that are pervasive.
Location: In the heart of downtown Las Vegas on Freemont street. Everything is nearby!
I was more than pleasantly surprised at my hotel room in the Rush tower of the Golden Nugget. Our room was excellent. it was modern, spacious and very clean. If you are staying in downtown Vegas I would highly recommend staying at the Golden Nugget

Excellent HotelPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Pool area, casino, and restaurants were all 1st class.
Clean hotel, VERY courteous, and friendly staff !! I couldn't have been happier with everyone at the Golden Nugget !! We will definitely stay here again. The management staff should be proud of their employees, and the job that each and every one of them did during our stay !!!

Great location for the Vegas Fremont experiencePosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: I love the fish tank! The restaurants are all great and the dealers are quite nice.
Cons: I wish the ventilation was a little better. As a non-smoker, I had a hard time on the main floors of the casino because of the smoke.
Location: At some point, you should definitely step outside and enjoy the Fremont Street magic at night.
We stay at the Golden Nugget primarily for the great beds. My partner is particularly careful when it comes to staying in a hotel because he won't sleep if the bed isn't just right. I love the location, the cost and the ability to find everything I need right there within the hotel. And the swimming pool/shark tank is awesome.

Not a Gold Club Room FanPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Location for our visit was perfect. Hotel staff was helpful and responsive.
Cons: Fix the shower Nothing is more disappointing in a hotel room than a poor shower. The AC noise was noticeably less in other rooms at the GN.
Stay was excellent. Staff was very attentive. Room was shockingly disappointing. Air conditioning for the room ran so loud, earmuffs are required to sleep. Had repeating shower issues. Hotel staff did their best to resolve but shower was extremely poor. Felt like a light mist when a hot downpour was really needed. To start the shower you had to step into the shower to turn the knob. Nothing like getting wet before you are ready. Granted the shower pressure was so poor, getting wet while starting the shower was minor. We had friends who stayed in just Gold Tower Rooms whose rooms were better than our room, which we paid more for. Despite the amenities of the Gold Club I would not say the difference in price was worth it.

Staff were wonderfulPosted Nov 24, 2014
When we arrived, the staff gave us a complimentary upgrade to the rush tower and I must say the bed was very nice. Valet parking was friendly and quick although we only stayed the one night. Buffet was not very good and I would not recommend it.

Great for younger people.Posted Nov 23, 2014
Cons: 4.00 for a bottle of water was terrible. You had to go outside and you could get it for 2/1.00. Same for coffee. Thank god for DD.
I usually stay on the strip and visit Freemont St. for a day. After you see it all in one day its all the same. Pool was great except the day that the body builders took over. There was no room for regular guests. They should have used the convention center. Being older and not having a car it was confineing.I also had better luck on the strip.

use the safe!Posted Nov 23, 2014
My room got broken into first night i was there! Stole my chips, my cash, and my watch while i was sleeping! Hotel manager and head of security would not even give me so much as an apology! There was a camera right outside the room but they absolutely would not show me the footage! What a joke... Its too bad because its a nice place but me or anybody i know will definately not be staying there again!
