Pleasant short stayPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Best hotel in DT Vegas by far; great selection of slots in casino; good restaurants to choose from and several Starbucks.
Location: The location was right in the center of DT Vegas so walking to other hotels was easy. Fremont Experience was right out their back doors.
We were pleasantly surprised and upgraded to the Rush Tower and the room was wonderful- modern and updated. It was close to the pool area as well. They were very accommodating-requested late checkout and it was no problem.

Not a good experience....will not stay againPosted Jul 27, 2014
at checking in they forgot to give me the gift certificate my daughters had waiting on us for $100.00 for dinner. We had to track it down the next day. Our room had a cricket in it for 2 of the 3 nights that kept us awake for 2 nights until we found it, after we had maintenance come up and they did nothing. Why would you have to pay for coffee that should be furnished in your room? or bottled water for that matter? Room had several holes in the wall...why I don't know. All in all it was not what we expected to experience since our last stay there was excellent.

Right on the Freemont ExperiencePosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: clean rooms and quick valet service
Cons: free wifi and a 24 hour restaruant that will prepare food like a Dennys or similar.
Location: Downtown with the freemont experience on hand.
We stayed two nights and thought the hotel was very nice. It's on Freemont so you can walk right outside of the casino and be on the street for live music and activitys on the "Boardwalk." There are several restaurants and the buffett. If you want fine dinning check out Vic and Anthonys. It is a great steakhouse with a fine dinning experience, it is a bit pricy though. There are two things I wasn't thrilled with. The in room Wifi isn't free and it isn't cheap but since I didn't spend a lot of time in the room nor need to use the internet it was ok. There isn't a grill type restaurant open late as in 24hrs. The claim jumper restaurant is open 24hrs but I was looking for a smaller type meal, like a quick burger and fries but that wasn't avail past midnight. I went to a nearby competitor and got what I wanted. Overall, I liked the hotel. The room was clean and the towels were new, thats really all you need.

Nice room, great pool and close to downtown! Additional check in desk in use would have been nice.

Liked the water slide that goes through the shark tank, the Rush Tower is also the newest and is smoke free.

Nice hotel to experience Fremont Action.Posted Jul 26, 2014
The hotel is nice and would stay there again. Notice a lot of family's with children and also older couples like to stay there so it's not as rowdy as some of the other hotels. Easy to get a 24hr bus pass to the strip for $8.00 to enjoy shows and only takes about 20 min or less to get to the strip. The pool area is nice but fills up by 9am most mornings so you have to get there early to get a lounge chair. I just played slots but the payout was generous. Negative points. Some of the staff were not very helpful when asking questions. Room had a few bugs in the dresser so I would not put my clothes in there. Had issue with my door lock not recognizing my key and had to have it reprogrammed.
