Room noisy-1269

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: It was clean and has a great pool.
Cons: The room that we stayed in had a noise that sounded like air conditioning going on and off throughout the night. This was annoying.
Location: Fremont Street was exciting and we found the eating in the different Casinos very nice
We had a great experience in staying in your hotel. Friendly people lots of activities going on. Fremont Street great experience.

Disapointed

Pros: Lillys restaurant excellent food, nice poker room
Cons: Better customer service!
Location: Right on freemont street, in the middle of the fun!
We stay at the Golden Nugget every spring , and usually are so pleased- not so much this year. When we got to the hotel, our adjoining rooms with king beds request was not filled, even though a call in the morning confirmed this would not be an issue. We were told we would have a 2 bed room, when asked if they were queens, the host said...no, slightly smaller. They are doubles. Who does doubles in a casino resort??? I asked for any available switch, even if I needed to pay more, was told they were fully booked. I asked about the line of people behind me, he said they had reservations. I replied so did I, and paid in full 3 months in advance. The truly annoying part was that he didn't care at all. Upon entering the room, the trash can had not been emptied and had dirty diaper in it. The light in the bathroom was leaking water from the room above. No robes were in the room as advertised. The next morning I went down the desk to see if we could change rooms. Was given new room numbers, told they would be ready at 3 pm. I got a call at 3 asking if I still wanted to change rooms. Went down to the desk, no record of my morning conversation/ reservation. They were calling because of a note in my portfolio from the night before. We did eventually get new rooms, but again, no one really was concerned and we spent the better part of a day trying to fix it, waiting for a new room, and moving our things.

Wedding Anniversary Trip

Pros: location, service and overall experience. Great size rooms.
Cons: I really can't think of anything.
Location: its right in the middle of everything.
It was a great time -- spend the extra bucks for the tower and get treated like a VIP.

Excellent hotel for downtown stay.

Pros: spacey rooms. Downtown location.
Cons: increase the number of buffet selections for dinner meals.
Disappointed in the few selections food selection available for the buffet diner. Yet pricey diner charge.

Wedding weekend

Pros: The staff was very knowledgable on the area. Plus you can't ask for any better location.
Location: Its location right on Freemonts street gives you all kinds of posibilities for entertainment.
I don't gamble so I stayed away from the casino. I like the fact you walk out the door right onto Freemont street. I would rather spend my time there than on the strip.

Always a pleasure.

Pros: We like the convenience of everything located within the hotel.
Cons: I would suggest more outlets in the rooms. Its hard to use a blow dryer, hot rollers, curling iron and charge your phone & ipad from so few outlets
Location: There are too many to mention. Each stay we discover something new and different. Which is a plus in our book.
My husband and I have gone to Vegas a couple of times a year for the last 10 years. Each visit we stay at the Golden Nugget. One visit we decided to stay elsewhere. Never again!! Although it was a nice hotel we prefer staying on Freemont St. at the Golden Nugget....even one of the doorman know and remember us when we visit. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are always clean and well maintained.

Great hotel for the price and can't beat the location for the downtown experience.
