We had a great time! Food, fun the whole package! The only thing I would complain about is that there is no where to just sit down and relax. Either keep moving or sit at a table, bar or slot machine.

This is Vegas not a Resort!

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: The golden Nugget in the Lobby!
Cons: The room, take away the price of coffee in the room and the resort fee!
Resort fee ridiculous!!! Most people do not even know about this!! We paid over $200 for a 9 day stay! This is nothing more but another way to make money! We have stayed at lower priced hotels, that include amenities that this resort fee covers, and we did not pay a thing for them! The resort fee is supposed to be for things like the 2 bottles of water in the room, the pool, the gym, etc. This is truly sad! The coffee in your room, is pods for Kuerig cup machine, the box of 4 costs $10.00! This should be included in the Resort Fee! The Golden Nugget itself was nice, but the room is nothing more than average! I guess if you do not mind paying for the extras, it is OK! My husband and I will find another place instead the next time we visit!

Golden Experience!

Posted May 27, 2015
Golden Nugget is a fantastic place to stay and a much cleaner, laid back and comfortable setting than the strip with all the amenities offerred by the newer bigger casinos. The pool is awesome, the breakfast buffet a good value with great food. So many restaurants and just outside is a different mall setting for other downtown casinos - shuttle service from the airport and both the Gold or Carson Tower offer lovely well appointed rooms. We will only stay here from now on!

First Anniversary

Posted May 27, 2015
My girlfriend and I wanted to have a amazing anniversary weekend on the strip. So we decided to go with the Golden Nugget on the strip. When we arrived we were greeted my wonderful staff members. The rooms in the rush town were breath taking and comfortable. The pool was a relaxing place to be in. All and all we loved it and looking to go back again.

not happy

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: pool, with out punk rockers
Cons: have a older crowd
the only good thing was check-in, after that it was all bad, first resort fee for nothing ? just a rip off , young drunk punks running up and down the halls all night long slamming doors and fowl language, and no security to look after them . then in the morning putting out do not disturbe sign on doors , well we did not let that happen we made sure we were heard at 6 am every morning until we cheched out . the hotel also book in a large group of punk rocker bowlers, what a sight, tattoos , hair cuts, shaved heads, little or no clothes, and fowl language around the pool , not a happy place, we will not return unless they clean the place up and screen there guessed a little closer.

Hotel hat sehr nachgelassen

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Location.
