A 64-lane bowling alley is at the hotel/casino across the street. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, with rock climbing, biking and hiking trails, and scenic drives, is about 12 miles from the hotel. Mount Charleston, about 40 miles away, has biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding. Tennis courts, bowling centers, amusement centers and arcades, roller and ice-skating rinks, batting cages, and more can be found within city limits. About 20 golf courses are within 15 miles, including Desert Pines, Royal Links, Las Vegas National, Desert Inn, and Badlands.

“2nd Stay as Great as the 1st”

The Grandview has the Perfect accommodations & location for us to watch our son perform in the World Series of Team Roping next door at Southpoint. Four adults and we were extremely comfortable!

“amazing value”

We got this room on an Expedia special, so perhaps it won't be quite so amazing at regular price; still, we got a full suite with jacuzzi, full-size kitchen, sofa, and (best of all) a free washer and dryer. The only problem was spotty Internet service, and no room service if staying less than a week (which really was not a problem for us), but those are quibbles. We'd go back in a minute.

Area recommendations

Nothing original to report, but "O" at Bellagio is as spectacular as you've heard. The exhibition on Titanic at the Luxor was excellent. Buffet at the Cosmopolitan ("The Wicked Spoon") is delicious.

“This Is Not A Hotel... Condo w/No Services”

-Bedding was not clean, found hair -No room attendant service -No food service / Deli w/cold items -Poor Front Desk Service

“We know a first class hotel when we stay and Grand View certainly fits the bill.”

As the name of my review says it all I feel there is not a lot I can add!!!!

Area recommendations

Grand View and South Point being adjacent has a great deal to offer plus it's just far enough down the Strip to be nice and quiet if u like that kind of thing,and we do,also within easy access to the main part of the Strip !!!!!

“Nice place”

Here for work and normally stay at casino/hotels. Never again. Nice place. Comforts of home with a full kitchen. Easy access, don't have to walk through smokey casino to get to room. Heard no neighbor noise at all but parking lot was crowded. Adjacent to SouthPoint casino. No maid service, but I prefer that anyway.

“Not what I expected”

This is not a hotel. It is a limited resort. No food, no room service, you clean our own room, etc.

We’re sorry we did not live up to your expectations, but The Grandview at Las Vegas Resort is a timeshare resort, not a hotel. Unlike hotels, we offer luxury condominium-style rooms including amenities like jacuzzi tubs and fully appointed kitchens for our guests. Another difference between timeshares and hotels is that guests do not get daily room service. This is standard practice in the timeshare industry. The resort however offers full housekeeping services for a fee upon request. Thank you commenting and we hope you consider staying with us again.

“Great quality off the strip”

The best hotel I've been in so far (compared to some dozen other budget ones), only draw back is it's away from the strip but you can use the shuttle service which is only a 10 min drive.
