Extremely rude staff.

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Clean
Cons: Staff training, or people who care about their jobs.
Location: It's Vegas, end of story.
I sent my step-daughter and her friend to the Grandview because it looked like a clean, safe place for them to stay. (She is 24). She worked the night before at her second job and they arrived at 4:00 in the morning due to that. The woman at the desk kept insisting that they needed to pay $50.00 for "Early check-in". My stepdaughter insisted that we had paid for Friday night and Saturday night. EVENTUALLY...the desk clerk looked at her paperwork and said "Oh, I see. I didn't read that", This was after at least 5 minutes of insistence by my SD. Then as she pulled in the customer check-in parking, which the shuttle driver saw her do, the shuttle was parked so that she could barely pull out. Her friend had to get out and coach her out of the space as the shuttle driver walked off. He could have moved back some so she could get out, or even maybe coached her. They then asked if they could check-out at 11:00 on Sunday morning. They were going to let her, but then they came back and said she had to be out by 10:00. (Which is ok. They wanted an extra $100.00 to check out late.) They were also told they had to put all the towels in the bathtub, there could be no towels on the floor...AND dump their trash also. I paid almost three hundred for this room. They spent about 10 hours there and they were not pleasant. The room was very nice but the staff was terrible. My SD is a good girl also, not someone who drinks or parties. I will never book with them again.

Grandview, summer weekend via Expedia

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Start with the bad, it is a few miles south of center strip and there can be some noise from water running when a neighbor fills their jetted tub. That's it, everything else was a positive to me. Very nice room, room is the keyword here, full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom and a full bath. Very clean, comfortable and modern. Probably best with a car, but there are shuttles, to the store, to the strip, to the airport and across the street from Southpoint Casino. I liked it

Cons: It is a little dated. The sheets could be improved.
We like the room itself, clean, quiet, very comfortable. BUT, it is too far from the strip. Location.location ,location!!!

Home from home.

Pros: Everything.Off the Strip so you get away from the bustle.Good choice of pools with plenty of sunbeds.Full kitchen facilities in the appts.
Cons: Nothing. Love this place.
Location: Off the Strip but with easy access either by car or the shuttle bus.Next to South Point Casino with lots of eating choices and casino facilities.
7th return visit for my mother and me. Love this place. Staff all very helpful. Appts fully equiped so could eat in if needed. Washing machine an advantage. Love the in room jacuzzi. Pools great and Beany Scotts poolside food great. Next to SouthPoint Casino which of course offers full Casino facilities. We had car hire so easy access to Strip and parking in Grandview never a problem. Show tickets at discount prices available too. My sister managed to join us for part of the stay and this was not a problem as she used the fold away. Perfect accommodation, perfect weather, perfect location all equal perfect vacation. Grandview is the best. Roll on next year.

Thank you for your recommendation of The Grandview. We’re happy that you enjoyed your accommodations but are sorry that you had inconsiderate neighbors who disregarded the jetted tub policy. We hope that all the comforts of home that we provide will entice you to return and stay with us again the next time you’re in Vegas.
