Grandview Stay Nov, 2014

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Great location to get anywhere in Vegas vicinity, free parking, non-smoking rooms with kitchen, washer & dryer.
Cons: WiFi -very slow;hit and miss connections, only basic internet available. Didn't get very much for the $25 mandatory fee.
Location: close to South Outlet mall, rental car return & airport, close to grocery stores & easy quick access to I-15
Resort still reasonably priced & well maintained for its age. Great location if you want to stay off the strip. Need a car if as you'll need to drive everywhere. There is limited shuttle service. Pool area still good. Housekeeping standard very good. However, you don't get much for the $25 mandatory resort fee, internet very slow , at times not available.

Pros: Size of rooms
Cons: Clean and replace gross stained funiture.
Not a good experience. Room and resort was not clean! Booked as a hotel stay, not as a timeshare. They never came in to clean. Furniture was stained, bedding was terrible.

We are disappointed to learn that you were not satisfied with your stay. Housekeeping and service are our top priorities and complaints of this nature are very rare. In the future, we suggest that you contact our front desk when you encounter any issue so that we have the opportunity to correct it. The Grandview Las Vegas is not a hotel, but a timeshare resort, which offers spacious, condo style accommodations with a full-kitchen and washer/dryers in each unit. Guests staying six or more days receive a mid-week housekeeping service on the fourth day of their scheduled stay. Daily maid service is available upon request at an additional charge.

Great value

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: No surprises--exactly as advertised. A good solid family value; great location. Pools were perfect for kids and adults! Plenty of parking.
Cons: Internet service spotty and slow. Entry doors hard to open; ill fitted. Single control faucets with hard to control dangerously excessively hot water.
Location: 10 minutes to airport rental car facility; 10 minutes to the airport. South Point casino complex is right next door.
Friendly, attentive, service-focused staff. An enjoyable week!

The only thing I was disappointed was the kitchen didn't have all I needed. I guess u have to bring your own items. Some pots and pans I needed. I guess I nned to bring them next time. Did u have in writing what things we needed to bring ourselves? Other then that it was great.

Stay Some Where Else

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: Tear it down
Location: South Point, thats it. You are a long haul from the strip.
If you have a request or need something, all the staff does is pass the buck and point toward someone else to talk to. And when you speak to that person they'll actually point you back to the person you just spoke to. It's sort of hilarious. All they want to do is sell you a time share.

Timeshare location

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Always a nice place to stay, but some of the rooms are showing age. Some of the furniture veneer is peeling, chips in paint. They offer smoking rooms so the elevator can sometimes smell like an ash tray. Overall however, the beds comfortable and they are fully stocked with plates, flatware and pots. Parking can fill up quickly too!

HI. My friend owns a time share at the Grandview, so I thought I would stay there so I could see what she was talking about. They did let us check in early, which was nice. Otherwise I didn't see a hotel employee the whole 4 days. The room was clean and was what I expected. We had noticed that there was a 10:00 am checkout, so we had asked if we could have a little longer. They said no problem, just call Saturday night and request it. When I did, they said absolutely not, that they have allot of people coming in on Sunday. I just wish they would have told me that in the beginning. No maid service, unless you stay longer. It was ok, just took some getting used to! Would stay here again.

We are pleased that you would vacation with us again at The Grandview Resort. One of the many ways that a timeshare resort is different from a hotel is that we offer a “home away from home” experience. Guests can relax in our fully-furnished condominiums with the privacy of your own bedroom and the convenience of full-kitchen and laundry equipment. Guests staying six or more days receive a mid-week housekeeping service on the fourth day of your scheduled stay and we also offer daily maid service upon request, at an additional charge. We apologize that we could not accommodate your request for a late check-out due to high occupancy at this time of the year.

First Las Vegas

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Size, amenities, Price!
Cons: Clean jacuzzi jets! Better mattresses, coupons that non gamblers can use!, more information on thing to do before checking out!
Location: This location was quite far away from things, and no information is given for things near by except the two closes casino's. Grocer's?
This Hotel was Awsome for price! I just didn't care for bed comfort! Woke up tired from tossing tring to get comfortable! Also the jacuzzi had black specs of trash coming out of jets! And after draining I found more visible trash! Yuk! There was not enough information on how to leave room when you check out! Like dumping trash and putting dishes in dishwasher and turning it on! Towels were ruff too! They should explain that coupon books only work if you first get a club card!!!! But overall it was nice there! Weather was cold though! :)
