great hotel close to everything!Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: The rooms feel like home.
Location: Lots of shopping within walking distance, and several choices for dining both in the casino and nearby.
We only stayed one night, but will for sure stay longer next time. The hotel gives you both soft and firm pillows to choose from. The room was large with a great view of the vinyard and the pool. All the staff was friendly.

Nice Family HotelPosted Feb 27, 2015
Very nice hotel. We were there for a soccer tournament, and it was the perfect location with near by shopping & restaurants. Very family friendly.

Nice resort, close to VegasPosted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: It was a beautiful place. From the swimming pool area to the inside of the lobby, class shined. The Hanks Steakhouse was great!
Cons: Make sure the room is clean! It was a disappointment, but everything else was great!
Location: You can always take a ride into Vegas but the casino there was just fine.
The hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, the carpet in my room was not vacuumed, although the bed was made. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and only made a loud hum when turned on. The hotel itself was beautiful and the bathroom was spacious. I would stay here again, just get a different room that has been vacuumed. Hanks Steakhouse was wonderful although the wait time was lengthy, and the waitress at the buffet was great!

Nice hotel in HendersonPosted Feb 18, 2015
I stayed at this hotel because of a conference. For the price paid, it would've been nice to have a mini fridge (not just a mini bar), microwave and coffee pot. I hate having to walk half a mile just to go get coffee. Other than that, the staff were nice, the rooms were nice and the beds were comfy.

A great place to relax away from the StripPosted Feb 16, 2015
Very quite and relaxing atmosphere. Swimming pool and spa facilities are clean and comfortable. The coffee bar near the Casino has amazing coffee and lattes (support local). Great amenities in the guest room/bathroom. And only takes 15 mins to the strip by taking easy access to the highway from the resort. This is a great place for family and friends to relax.

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the t.v. worked great. I loved the bathtub, and everything about this place. I can't wait to stay here again!

Nice Off-Strip ResortPosted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing.
Cons: More restaurants/food choices. Windows that open in the rooms. Resort fee could be reduced.
Location: Approximately 8 miles from the Strip. Cinemas within the complex. Shopping area across the road from the hotel. Not much else in the area.....
Firstly, the shuttle pick-up from Mandalay Bay could be better. We arrived on time at the collection point, the shuttle duly arrived and the passengers got off. We then approached the driver only to be told 'wait inside, I have something to do' and she then drove off. We waited a full 20 minutes before phoning GVR to ask if the shuttle was coming back. It did arrive 30 minutes later, the driver sounding a bit annoyed that we had telephoned the hotel, saying she had been to get petrol. If she had explained properly in the first place and said how long she would be, it could all have been avoided. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, although quite big and sprawling. It is very easy to get lost when you first arrive and I think more could be done to help you find your way round - not just leaving you to your own devices. Room was quite large and very clean - shame the windows didn't open though. The buffet was very good, although expensive and can be very crowded with long lines and waiting times. Not many good eating alternatives..... Lastly, on checking out, the reception didn't know that we had paid for our stay (through Expedia) prior to arriving, even though the clerk had confirmed this when we checked in............ We were left waiting about 30 minutes while all the details were checked again with Expedia (by phone). We were then charged $85 'resort fee' for 3 nights stay..... All in all, a nice place to stay away from the strip.
