Best hotel on our one month trip across the statesPosted Jul 26, 2014
This hotel is fantastic. We got a huge corner room with a massive bathtub and shower room as well as a huge log bed and awesome views of the airport and also the pool. They have many restaurants in house and we tried 4 of them. All excellent and well priced. A cocktail in the centre bar was 2.50!!!! So cheap! If you gamble you get free drinks! Everything is new and pretty on the HRH tower that we stayed in and you can park your car for free. The staff is awesome and the experience was amazing!

Nice Hotel Off StripPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: clean and trendy
Cons: earlier check in times for convenience
Location: minutes from the striip... not walking distance but a quick cab ride.
Wonderful hotel, really clean, minute from the strip. Only thing that sucked is the rooms were not ready till almost 5pm!! and they don't have walk-out balconies just doors with bars in-front of them!

Free, unwanted rock concert kept us awake until 1Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The price, the food in the diner, the atmosphere before bedtime and the displays of rock memorabilia.
Cons: Consideration of guests' sleeping choices.
Location: Great location, good Vegas access, but a little off the beaten path in Vegas, so kinda nice.
I was in love with the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas until I attempted to sleep! We had an early wakeup scheduled for the morning due to a long drive to Colorado planned the next day. We went to bed around 9:30 PM, and were treated to an unwanted LOUD rock concert/reception in the courtyard outside our window (even though we were on a higher floor) that kept me awake until 1:08 AM. There was absolutely NO CHOICE as to whether we would stay awake late in Vegas or not in this case. It was decided for us, and probably many others, by this unwanted party right outside, in the pool area. When we mentioned it upon checkout at 5 AM, the clerk puzzled us more by saying she would have warned us if she had known it was going to go so late. ??????? So, if we would have known, we would have slept through the noise??? So disappointing, as I was totally planning another stay there based on our experience up to the point of bedtime, and the reasonable weekday price.

Gambling, Drinking & Pool time!!Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Pools. delicious mixed drinks, 30 crowd
Cons: Rooms need a little TLC, friendlier/more available pool waitresses
Location: CVS is conveniently located directly across the street, great Mexican place in the strip with CVS also . .otherwise, you'll be cabbing it to the strip
First trip to Vegas & stayed at the Hard Rock with a group of girlfriends for a girls trip. The pools are GREAT and the Slots are loose. The drinks were delicious but pricey. FYI . .too far from the strip to walk . .you will be cabbing it!! 30 crowd which is nice to avoid the "craziness" of the 21 crowd. The Service at the front desk and restaurants were great, wish I could say the same about the rest of the staff. We had daybeds at the Rehab Party and several other days by the pool and for what we paid, would certainly have expected better service (we got better service on the days we didn't have daybeds). . .half the time you couldn't find the waitresses and the rest of the time, they acted like you were a pain when asking for something. Even when gambling on the floors, it was hard to find a waitress to get drinks. The dealers at the tables were helpful & accommodating for those of us not use to playing however. We had rooms in the Casino Tower (1 King room & 1 Double Queen Room). The King was big and the beds were comfortable, however the cleanliness of the rooms left a little to be desired (and they stocked the bare minimums for linens & TP) and in the King, the faucet leaked each time you turned on the sink & in the Queen, the toilet didn't work even after calling maintenance to fix it. I might guess that this is their oldest tower & in need to a little bit of TLC. Overall, enjoyed the stay . . . but think I might try someplace else in the future.

Very nice HotelPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Parking easy. Nice rooms and facility.
Cons: Pool opening hours. My 15 year old daughter was not allowed in the pool. Too bad.
Location: Super location. Close to downtown.
I came with 3 girls 13-14-15 years. They loved it with the exception that the pool was closed for kids under 21.

HARD ROCK VEGASPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The room and pool were great.
Cons: Shuttle service.
Great hotel. Awesome pool! Was disappointed with the shuttle service. Shuttle service ended at 5 P.M. which I felt was way too early. Other than that it was a great stay.

Very nice!!Posted Jul 21, 2014
The staff was very pleasant and we were treated like welcomed guests, instead of the bedraggled and road-weary travelers that we were. The room was lovely, but our only view was of the rooftop next door... no lights, no pool, just a white rooftop. Also, being from Colorado, I'm not used to the desert heat, but I wasn't able to control the temperature. Aside from that, the room was great! The shower alone was worth the stay...
