Brilliant hotel, perfect for my needs. Not to far from the strip. Great food, really friendly staff. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I wish I would have stayed somewhere else

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: I chose this hotel because it was the location of a seminar/class. The meeting room and provided lunch were good.
Cons: I don't think the Hard-Rock-Hotel could ever get me back there.
They didn't have our reserved (and prepaid) non-smoking room when we arrived (it was late, midnight, when we arrived). They offered me a smoking optional room instead. I didn't want it. It was the ONLY option for the first night, I was very opposed to staying in a room where smoking had been permitted. I asked if they could help me find another room in another hotel. They didn't. Instead they upped their offer and said they would "purify" the air if we would stay in the smoking optional room the first night, and then they would upgrade us to an "Executive Suite" for the rest of our 6 night stay. This sounded pretty good, so I accepted the offer. The 1st room wasn't terrible and the smoke smell was not too bad. But I couldn't wait to get out of their and too the non-smoking "suite". The next morning my wife and I spent way too long trying to get transferred to the promised new room. When we finally go the key to the new room, we were running late for our scheduled event, and only had time to quickly drop off our luggage. To my shock the new room smelled of smoke worse than the first room, and while it was a bit bigger than the 1st room, it was by no means an upgrade. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Daughter's Wedding

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: And escalator to the rooms. It is a long walk for an old lady like me. LOL
Location: We took the shuttle, a cab or limo to where we wanted to go.
My daughter and her now husband selected the venue, so it was our first time there. The rooms were clean, the hotel staff were kind, and I mean from the front door, to the registration desk, to the spa, to the restaurants, to the casino, and beyond. We were very pleased with the hotel/casino.

KISS CONCERT

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: No
I arrived early but the front desk found me a room immediately. The concert facility was well above expectations. I used all the food facilities and would recommend them all.

Good

Posted Nov 22, 2014
The hotel is nice, rooms were quiet easy to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Stayed in a deluxe king sweet, wasn't much to talk about but was nice. Our tv didn't work till the 2nd last day we stayed, found a pill on the floor behind the chair and hair products from the last people that stayed there. Over all it wasn't bad. Could have a few improvements. Was expecting more of a rock and roll looking room little more exciting, rooms were plain looking.

Great room but in sad condition

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: The overall layout and what was offered in terms of gambling, shopping, food and concert venue (the joint)
Cons: While the amenities were good, the room was in a very poor condition and we had the impression it had not been cleaned or maintained at all.
Location: The hotel is a few blocks away from the strip and it takes about a 15 min walk to get there.
Stayed in one of the HRH tower king suites for 3 nights. Very friendly staff and great check in experience. The room was very nice but filthy...

Good Hotel close to the strip

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Kiss played next door so it was ideal for me
Location: There is not a lot to do in this location but the strip is a 15 min walk and there is a fantastic bar called Double down saloon that dose $3 beer
Very good staff and a great hotel if you like rock and roll,a few bad things 1 it is very close to the airport and the planes start at 5.30 am 2 you get charged $24 a day for a lot of things i did not want or need like the pool (even though it was not open) local calls (i live in the uk so no need for them) comference room (not a lot of point having a one man comference) but its a fixed charge so nothing you can do about it.
