Nice hotel, fun

The only downside to staying at the hard rock is that you can't bring outside drinks in. other than that it was a blast

Me and my boyfriend had a great time staying here. The staff was helpful, nice and very accommodating. Just off the strip and right by the airport. Big casino, nightclub and plenty of pool area and a slide. Our room was very clean as well as the bathroom/ shower. Defiantly would go back and recommend to anyone. Family friendly as well!

Great staff makes for a great stay

Pros: Get staff at the front door. A fun group. I love that i walk in the front door and I'm in my room within 4 minutes.
Cons: Longer hours at the gift shop.
Location: Las Vegas. You can find anything you want.
I was in town for business and my schedule was booked. On the morning of the second day of my trip I found an issue with my reservation(placed via Expedia) that affected my bill. I went to the front desk and asked to speak with the hotel manager. She was out to see me with in 2 minutes, and was very helpful and expedient and resolved the incorrect charge immediately. She was respectful and accommodating to my schedule. She followed up with me later that day to make certain I was happy with the outcome. This could have ruined my day, but the staff at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino responded perfectly. Thank you for your effort!

half half

I was been upgraded to a 17th floor for a extra $35 increase on house rate, the staff said that's valentine's day program. however, the room view did get a upgrade, the service and the cleanness just didn't catch up for lack of tissues and not replacing some new towels. But for a rock n' rol fan, still a nice place to stay

Too many variations in my reservations

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: We loved the "Mr. Lucky's" restaurant n the lobby, the staff there was superb and friendly, the food was terrific in price and portion size, and taste
Cons: Nothing that I can think of
Location: It was my first time in Vegas, and "The Big Bus" stops right out front of The Hard Rock and is very affordable to ride all day and night.
M.y original reservations did not hold true. The staff did all they could to make things right, and I can be very hard to please after things do not go as planned. Overall my stay was all I had expected and more. I did not get the room I had originally booked, but the room they put us in for the first night was very accommodating, We were there for our wedding and they made it the best I cold have ever asked for. After getting our room on the second day they helped coordinate with our wedding chapel and to make sure our visit and honeymoon was perfect.

Thanksgiving 2014

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Location, atmosphere, security and parking spaces
Cons: A coffeemaker and microwave, usage of fridge without any charges in the room.
Location: Near to the airport and premium outlet. Didn't mind at all that it was not near to the strip. CVS, fastfood chains across the street
We enjoyed our stay for twelve nights in this hotel. Would recommend and choose this hotel at anytime! When we left the hotel for a short trip to Long Beach for four nights upon returning from the security came to our room and asked for an ID to make sure that the room was occupied with us and not with any strangers. We realised that even leaving some stuffs in our room during our absence we felt safe and secured.

The Hard Rock doesn't disappoint

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: It's 4 blocks off "the strip," so it was less crowded. Rooms are clean and contemporary. You can always get a good meal at a HR Cafe!
Cons: Add a Nespresso/Keurig maker in room. The in-room electronically controlled mini-bar should be optional or removed. It's a nuissance and a rip-off.
Location: HR is a bit "off the beaten track." Take a tour to Hoover Dam. Go to Shark Reef @ Mandalay Bay casino. See Frank the Man&Music or Vegas the Show.
A mid-winter trip for 2 couldn't have been better. Hotel front desk staff were professional yet approachable, helpful. The bellhop/taxi staff were friendly and easily engaged in conversation. The HR has a cool vibe that encourages its guests to relax and have fun. No non-descript "elevator music" here. There's rock 'n roll throughout, incldg an in-room system you can tailor to your preferences. Upgraded our deluxe king rm to a suite. The LR had a small wet bar between his/her armoires and a cream white L sectional that nicely partitioned off from the bedroom/bath by sliding 2 soundproof-like doors on either side of a large flatscreen tv on the dividing wall. Floor to ceiling windows w/blackout curtains ensured sound sleep under the crisp, white down comforter. A double sink, private toilet, large rainshower stall w/bench, and deep soaking tub were tiled and well maintained. Surprised how uncrowded the HR was compared to the extensive crowds in the hotel/casinos on the strip, but we enjoyed having quick service in the HR restaurants and casino. Only 1 neg comment--the staffer who checks/restocks the minibar entered our room w/o knocking, which was concerning. We never use the minibar so our request to cease took care of it. The 15-20 min walk to the strip is not recommended at night, so expect nightly taxis. Only 1 pool was open during this cooler season and outdoor firepits were at Culinary Dropout during the evening. We would definitely return to the HR.
