Great Stay

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Room size
Cons: more food options would have been nice
Found the rooms to be very comfortable. The pools are amazing and if pool parties are your thing I would suggest going to Rehab on the sunday, a lot of fun! Also used the spa and it was great. Staff are super friendly!

Pros: Entertaining
Cons: Extra charges
Location: fine..walking distance
It was all in all, very good. THe only thing I questioned is we didn't use any of the things that we were charged and extra 24.00 a nite for. Spa etc. We ate at the restaurants, very good.

Frustrated at the Hard Rock

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Take care of the maintenance needs and improve the lighting fixtures, especially in the bathroom (investing in brighter light bulbs would be a start).
Location: Hard Rock Café is located right in front of the Hard Rock Hotel, and it's location is a quick straight shot to the airport (only couple minutes away).
Thought things were going well as we arrived mid-afternoon. Although we got to "check-in", given our reservation (for a single room with a king bed), we weren't assigned a room because none with a king bed were ready. After sitting there waiting nearly 2 hours and still no room ready, we agreed to take a room with two queen beds. We subsequently discovered unusual cushions on top of the mattresses and shifting around under the fitted sheet, and discovered that the mattress on one of the queen beds was crushed to where you sunk into a large divot and would roll off the mattress if you got close to it's edge. No drinking glasses to use for drinks or for the bathroom sink. Very dark room décor and very dark lighting left it hard to see in the room (unless the sun was shining in); worse in the bathroom. TV remote control was for a different brand of TV and no batteries, so that was useless. The staff at the front desk was courteous as I reported the discrepancies and expressed my disappointment. That only led to a person bringing drinking glasses and a usable TV remote control, but nothing for the other issues.

HardRock

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Was confusing at first because my Expedia info didn't not which tower I was in, etc...So I parked in the wrong parking lot, went to the wrong check-in desk, and waited in line just to figure out that I was in the wrong place...other than that it was pretty good. Comfy bed, nice room, hotel people were nice.

Nice hotel east of the Vegas strip

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: The pool atmosphere was awesome.
Cons: Registration / checkout line took awhile. Housekeeping could have done a more thorough job at cleaning the room, restocking things.
Location: It was a lot further off the Vegas strip, than I thought. Recommending taking a cab over to the strip which is where everything else was.
Hotel was nice. The pool facilities created a beach party atmosphere and was pretty fantastic. Several areas were sandy leading to the pool and in some places the last step into the pool was an actual sand bottom. The casino itself seemed small compared to others, particular on table games. or at least ones that were open. The staff was pretty friendly and room service was exceptional service. The service in Mr Lucky's was slow. Some of the signage inside was difficult. :"The Joint" venue was very spacious and would be a great place to come back for any concerts.

Best hotel on our one month trip across the states

Posted Jul 26, 2014
This hotel is fantastic. We got a huge corner room with a massive bathtub and shower room as well as a huge log bed and awesome views of the airport and also the pool. They have many restaurants in house and we tried 4 of them. All excellent and well priced. A cocktail in the centre bar was 2.50!!!! So cheap! If you gamble you get free drinks! Everything is new and pretty on the HRH tower that we stayed in and you can park your car for free. The staff is awesome and the experience was amazing!

Nice Hotel Off Strip

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: clean and trendy
Cons: earlier check in times for convenience
Location: minutes from the striip... not walking distance but a quick cab ride.
Wonderful hotel, really clean, minute from the strip. Only thing that sucked is the rooms were not ready till almost 5pm!! and they don't have walk-out balconies just doors with bars in-front of them!

Free, unwanted rock concert kept us awake until 1

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The price, the food in the diner, the atmosphere before bedtime and the displays of rock memorabilia.
Cons: Consideration of guests' sleeping choices.
Location: Great location, good Vegas access, but a little off the beaten path in Vegas, so kinda nice.
I was in love with the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas until I attempted to sleep! We had an early wakeup scheduled for the morning due to a long drive to Colorado planned the next day. We went to bed around 9:30 PM, and were treated to an unwanted LOUD rock concert/reception in the courtyard outside our window (even though we were on a higher floor) that kept me awake until 1:08 AM. There was absolutely NO CHOICE as to whether we would stay awake late in Vegas or not in this case. It was decided for us, and probably many others, by this unwanted party right outside, in the pool area. When we mentioned it upon checkout at 5 AM, the clerk puzzled us more by saying she would have warned us if she had known it was going to go so late. ??????? So, if we would have known, we would have slept through the noise??? So disappointing, as I was totally planning another stay there based on our experience up to the point of bedtime, and the reasonable weekday price.
