Bring your hiking bootsPosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Room was overall good.
Cons: Hotel configuration is terrible.
Location: The strip is about 1/4 mile away. Many restaurants all around the area.
First arrived to a confusing entrance, finally found main self-parking garage after driving in circles, no clear signage. Grabbed luggage from car and walked to elevator and continued a long walk down and around to front desk. 8 people in line, only 1 clerk. Hot and tired - asked to use a luggage trolley, had to leave at front for a bellboy to take when they were ready. No thanks... Clerk was efficient and told me that our room was in Tower 3. Had to carry luggage back to car, drive around the block to another entrance. What? So, in 111 degree heat, we found another parking garage and had to carry our luggage, once again, around a long set of hallways to our room. Not happy. Room was nice, opened the curtains to a rooftop. Ugh. Room was very warm, a/c worked well once it got going. TV was mounted on a side wall which made it hard to see from the bed. No fridge or microwave. But, if you're hungry, there is a $9.50 bag of Skittles and you could wash it down with a $9.00 bottled water. We decided on a $2.50 soda from the machine down the hall instead. With all that said, we would never consider this hotel again.

Sehr empfehlenswert!Posted Jul 4, 2015

Just OkayPosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Beds, price
Cons: Open internet to multiple logins, internet in business center should be included, along with ticket/voucher printing. Four bath towels/room, minimum.
Location: Off the strip but I like that, close to strip attractions.
Booked a 2 Queen HRH Suite for 3 nights with my wife, college age daughter and her roommate, was assigned a 4th floor room facing a roof and HVAC equipment. Garage was half empty during this midweek stay, can't do better than this? Room is spacious, with a combined entryway/bar leading to an L shaped sofa that was uncomfortable, but stylish. Nice entertainment/audio system was a plus, two flat screen TV's included. Bathroom was double sink, large tub, had two bath towels for quad occupancy. Rainshower setup was nice, but nowhere to set soap/shampoo except the floor. Shortly after arrival we noticed our $28 "resort fee" only guarantees one 2MBPS connection, though we were able to connect two before getting locked out. Also Expedia listing states resort fee includes use of the business center, what is not shown is that you can only use the business center for printing boarding passes. I had a voucher for a show that would require an internet connection (didn't I pay for that?) and was told by the business center that the internet connection for printing the voucher would be extra. Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. On the second night around midnight, the smoke detector started chirping every 30 seconds or so, maintenance came promptly to change battery. The highs were the beds that reminded me of Westin Heavenly beds. The Expedia price was amazing, but the experience was average.

Room 846 Was Terrible!!Posted Jul 3, 2015
Nice View Of The Pool Area From The 7th Floor... 1st Things 1st The BathRoom Was Not Clean At All.. Because There Was Some Kind Of Sticky Stuff On The Floor.. & Hair On The Shower Walls From A Person That Had Long Hair... YUCCKKK!!!! Room Itself Was Pretty Decent... BUT... THE A/C WASNT KEEP MY ROOM AS COOL AS I WANTED IT TO BE... PLUS THE DOUBLE DOORS TO VIEW THE OUTSIDE WAS MESSED UP SOOO IT WOULDN'T FULLY CLOSE RIGHT AS IT SHOULD HAD!!! I COULD HEAR THE WATER FALL FROM THE POOL AREA AND NOISE FROM OUTSIDE AS IF THE DOORS WERE OPEN... OHHH BTW THE HOTEL CARD TO GET IN MY ROOM BARLEY WORKED I HAD TO GO DOWN I KNOW AT LEAST 4 TIMES TO GET NEW KEYS MADE... BUT I TOLD THE HOTEL STAFF THAT IM PRETTY SURE THE INSERT HAD SOME KIND OF PROBLEM.. THEY DID NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM.. SMFH

Nice Deal but Who Needs Resort Fees Anyway?Posted Jul 3, 2015
Had a short one night stay there. Very busy out front and had absolutely no clue where to self park as I could not even see where the garage was located. Valet worked well though and service was fast out front on a weeknight. Relatively short wait at registration. What's the deal with the $28 resort fee? It includes stuff not even needed and totally a way for hotels to make some more money. What sense does $42 for room and $28 resort fee make anyway? Surprisingly tasty breakfast at Mr Luckys that I would recommend.

Rocking and Rolling at the "HARD ROCK"Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Great food in all of the restaurants and all of the staff were so very nice and helpful as well. Never met any staff member that was not smiling.
Cons: Swimming pools the water temperature was more like a hot tub than a cool dip. Most of the people we talked with were not happy about that.
Location: You are off the strip here but only a short taxi ride to the strip. The hotel has a shuttle to town running every hour on the hour during the day.
Have to say we went to Vegas with our Arena Football team to play the local AFL team the Las Vegas Outlaws owned by Vince Neil lead man for Motley Crue and the Hard Rock is close to the UNLV campus where our game was to be played, so it was a natural. We knew we would be partying with Vince after the game, what we did not know was that the night after the game would also mark the closing of the Hard Rocks Center bar which has been a ikon of places to hang in Vegas and so after 20years this famous landmark was closing and it was a party to remember with lots of staff from over the years and many who were regulars over the years. We met a guy who like one of our friends with us was there in 1995 when the bar opened, one of the bar tenders has been working there as well for the entire 20 years. It was a great part and we can hardly wait for September to see what the Hotel will opening in this spot. They were already working on that project the next morning and the staff we talked with told us that management says it will be spectacular when they opened again. This is a fun place to stay and if you are in to music and the people who make it and made it there is so much memorabilia to see. It is well worth the stay at any age and the prices are very reasonable compared to much of the strip hotels and yet you get all of the glitz and excitement of Vegas.
