Elegant but Isolated

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Very well appointed and spacious. Big pool.
Cons: Needs a coffee shop.
Location: Isolated. Car required. Outings need to be scheduled as popping out to do something is a major time investment.
Very nice hotel. Attached 'town square' shops are mostly empty. Casino is closed.

Relaxing Vacation Close to Las Vegas Strip

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Resort offered all the amenities you could ask for and also was located in a quiet environment just 20 or 25 miles from the Las Vegas Strip.
Cons: More shuttle options should be offered. Current shuttle service departs the hotel at 9:30 am and the last shuttle pickup from The Strip is at 10:15 pm
Location: Restaurants, water sports on Lake Las Vegas, shopping, spa, etc
My wife and I booked this hotel resort and spa for our latest trip to Las Vegas. We purposefully chose this hotel due to the amenities offered and the fact it was located away from the Strip. Shuttle service to and from the Las Vegas strip was offered throughout the day. Pool and lagoon area offered a relaxing atmosphere where both food and adult beverages could be purchased. Spa facilities were also available. We loved and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa.

Weekend stay for a youth basketball tournament

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Great entrance and open areas, nice pool. Room comfortable and spacious.
Cons: Need a gift shop for sundries and some way to get a light breakfast and coffee that does not cost $22.
Location: Lake Las Vegas is in an odd location. 35 minutes from the strip. Nothing there but the resorts. Seems like an odd place to go if you don't golf.
The hotel is very lovely and the staff is friendly. The pool is nice and there is a small beach on the lake. The prices for food are fairly high, however. The village adjacent to the Hotel is pretty and some of the restaurants are good, but there is quite a bit of vacancy in the shops and the prices in the village are also really high. But the servers are friendly and make the experience nice.

Hot, will not stay again ghost town!

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Looks nice on the out side, room was HOT and when you go into the bathroom area it was twice as hot. Hotel design is poor. Stated shopping on hotel grounds, that's a lye it's like a ghost town. We as a family will never stay at this hotel again.

Cons: Lake LasVegas needs to get some stores open - like a ghost town.
Enjoyed the stay and loved the view from the room - firepit and gardens. Loved the music on Sat. night.

Las Vegas Tranquility

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Good quality 4 star hotel
Cons: There are very limited options for food or shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel
Location: Hotel is convenient as a base to explore Las Vegas, Lake Mead, and the Hoover Dam areas.
We found this to be a good quality hotel in a quiet setting, about 30 minutes drive from the Las Vegas Strip. It provided a relaxed alternative to the mania that usually surrounds Las Vegas hotels.

Love the facility.

The reception/check in stuff is very nice and friendly. We got a lake view room with a great clean, comfortable bathroom. Will come back again if I could.
