Luxurious hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Great room, lovely hotel, great price. They offered a free shuttle to the MGM grand on the strip.
Cons: Location is far away from strip and there is no casino on site. They should reopen the casino.
Location: Location is 30 minute ride from the strip, not much to do nearby. The 2 golf courses right there will not take tee times after 3:30 in the summer.
The hotel is luxurious, used to be a Ritz Carlton, rooms are large, the lobby is beautiful, the grounds are lovely. 2 golf courses right there.

Beautiful hotel, not too far from Vegas.

The girlfriend and I only needed a room for the night. The valet offered to park my car but then informed me he couldn't drive stick. The staff was very friendly. We arrived to a nice room with a king sized bed, the a/c worked well and blew ice cold. The balcony had a couple seats with a nice view of the hotel's courtyard. There were no trash bags in any of the receptacles. The pillow cases and sheets had a few small stains on them, not from us. The iLuv in the room for music and charging iPods was nice. Plenty of room in the bath tub, there was a separate shower as well with two sinks and a huge mirror in the bathroom. We didn't use the flat screen TV in the room. We were told at the front desk the $22 resort fee hold was for if we decided to use any of the amenities in the room, we ended up drinking one water bottle. The next morning they charged the full resort fee, maybe there was a little miscommunication, we would've taken full advantage of the coffee and water, etc. if we were correctly informed. Overall the hotel is beautiful, staff is helpful and friendly, maybe a little pricey but I wasn't really concerned with that. Would consider staying for a longer period of time to be able to utilize more of the hotel's services and amenities.

Very clean and relaxing

This is a beautiful property that is in need of more business. The village has almost no shops and just a few restaurant options. The hotel itself is magnificent. The staff is awesome all around the property, particularly at the registration desk. The hotel restaurant serves decent food. May be a bit over-priced. The waiters there are what make it a pleasant experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Totally worth the drive from the Vegas Strip

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: Everything. The price, room, staff, restaurants, pool, spa everything!!
Location: It was about 13 miles from the Las Vegas strip. There is plenty to do in Las Vegas and water activities, golf, and spa options at the resort.
My husband and I stayed at the Hilton at Lake Las Vegas for our 15th anniversary. It took about 30-40 minutes to get there from the Vegas Strip but it was sooo worth the extra drive. It was so clean and quiet. It was such a welcome change after spending the evenings in downtown Las Vegas. The staff was so nice and accomidating. Our room was upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. We also came back to our room to find a plate of yummy chocolate dipped strawberries with a happy anniversary card. The hotel/resort was absolutely stunning and since we went during the middle of the week we hardly had to wait to eat at the resort restaurants which were absolutely delicious. The pool is beautiful as is the lake. There are some great inexpensive activities to do at the lake. We had a great time kayaking and others looked like they were having fun on the paddle boards. We booked a spa package that although pricey was wonderful. We had such a relaxing couple of days but we both agreed it would be a great place to bring the kids.
