    “Great Location, Good Price.”

So we wanted something inexpensive for our 4 night stay but we didn't want to be so far down the strip like the three other cheap hotels that we couldn't walk anywhere. We were VERY happy with the location as it was right in the heart of it all. Very convenient. The room itself was quiet and clean (ask for a pool side balcony room, not a view of the strip) The strip side has a bar that's loud until all hours. The room was very basic however. No cofee pots or ammenities to speak of. The pillows were very thick so we had to ask for thinner ones. Getting to and from parking from the front desk is a maze. If you are going to self park, don't drag your bags from the ramp to the desk. Leave them in your car and come back. Or use the valet.

    “Wil be back”

We have stayed here in the past. We chose the side of the hotel with music that plays nightly. If you prefer total quiet, choose the pool side. We also like the convenience of being centrally located on the strip. I only left one comment at the hotel that the electrical outlets were worn out and should be changed out.

“Las Vegas thrill on a budget!”

If its a central location, comfy room, good shower and on a budget. The Imperial Palace is the place! The hotel is a little dated and old compared to the other newer hotels, with a smaller casino floor and dated décor, but the rooms are being updated. It is a central location, sandwiched between Harrahs & Flamingo and opposite the Mirage Ceasers Palace and 2 minutes walk from Ballagio and Treasure Island, so if you go for a walk, its central location means you can walk anywhere, or get the bus! ($7 24hr pass) Or it has a Mono-rail stop in the hotel. ($13 day pass) The staff are friendly, welcoming and will help any way they can. Even if youve never gambled before, theyll talk you through the machines and tables (if its quiet) Surprisingly we were upgraded as they didnt have a room for us, which was a pleasant surprise in the Pent house! And all I could think was in England youd have been told, Sorry! The rates are good (especially through Expedia!) I would suggest this hotel for returning visitors to Vegas, as it offers comfort and budget with a central location. First timers may want to stay in a bigger hotel to get the Vegas glitz. BUT you wont be sorry if you do stay here. Think Travel lodge, in Vegas! One point, if you arrive at a peak time (4 to 7pm) be prepared to queue to book in. About 20 to 30 mins. If theres 2 of you, one play the slots and get a few free drinks while you wait!

    “Everything but the parking ramp”

The hotel provided everything that I was hoping for on the trip. The room was comfortable, and cheap. Personally, I felt that the deluxe rooms were worth the extra money over the standard rooms. They have obviously been updated much more recently. Parking was the only issue as the ramp is a long walk from the hotel lobby. This is the way it is as many other Vegas hotels so this isn't really a draw back. Imperial Palace provided everything I could ask for.

Comfortable bed and nice shower. Would have liked to have an in-room coffee maker though.

“Stay here before they knock it down”

We like the Imperial Palace because it's in the middle of the strip, walking distance to a lot of stuff. Fast food, and familiar restaurants are close. Easy access in rent car or cab from the rear if Las Vegas Blvd. is packed. It doesn't take forever to get to your room from the front doors like most hotels. Probably the cheapest on the strip. If you don't spend a lot of time in your room, and why should you, it's great. The casino is not bad either.

    “Centrally Located”

We enjoyed our stay, Jacuzi & the pool, vintage auto museum, monorail connection and walking around nearby other places on the strip. It was so well located that I saved on commuting too. I will definately recommend others.
