“I didn't want to leave!”
The whole experience was awesome. Our room and patio were great, the waterfall gardens spectacular. The diversity and quality of restaurants were definitely five star. Access to golf was very easy with many great courses very close by. Taking our 8 year old son also, everything was kid friendly, he didn't want to leave!
“For the Lone Traveler”
The staff was more than helpful. The accommodations were lovely. It took me a little while to figure out how the shower worked, but once I got it, it was fine. Never at a loss for hot water. The only difficulty I had was trying to get the room key to work. It usually took between 3 and 5 tries before it opened the door.
“A Pleasant Surprise.”
A pleasant surprise. We usually stay on the strip but thought we would try this hotel. We were looking for something quieter especially on a long weekend. The grounds around the property are beautiful. The service was great. We each had a massage and both agreed that it was well worth the money spent. We had the Junior Suite with a patio on the main floor. The room was very spacious. It was nice not to have to take the elevator. We would definately stay here again.
“Great hotel for family off the noisy strip”
This was a stop-over during a long drive west. (So we were not interested in sightseeing or the strip) Very quiet, serene and clean. The pool was great. Nice shallow parts for small children, but you are for sun-bathing, there were plenty of space for that too. Premise was nicely landscaped. We ate the buffet for dinner and the food was surprisingly good. The variety of food was a bit wanting, but what was there the quality was great for buffet food. My son loved the soft-serve ice-cream. There was an outside movie-showing for Saturday evenings, and my son enjoyed that, too. The room was clean and very spacious. The receptionist saw that we had a small child and made sure that we got a room on a lower floor with easy access. My son loved the huge whirlpool tub. One negative was that the room had a faint smell of tobacco even though it was a non-smoking floor. It was not as bad as some hotels I had on the strip, but if you are absolutely against tobacco smell, I think you should look at non-smoking hotels. We didn't go to the strip, but if you wanted they operate a free shuttle. If you just want to play on the slot machines,(they gave us a free $20 coupon to play) they have that on the premises. (But these are off the lobby, so you don't have to go through the smoke and noise when you go about other businesses, which I loved.) Overall, a great hotel for families. I was really happy with our stay.
“My personal palace”
A beautifully maintain property...looked like I should have paid a whole more for this room.
“Peace and Quiet in Vegas!”
We had a great experience. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. The casino is physically separated from the hotel rooms so as not to interfere with peace and quiet, if that's what you're seeking. The pool and garden areas are very nice. The valet parking staff is outstanding: we got great driving directions and advice about how to avoid traffic to and from The Strip and the airport. We ate in three of the restaurants on-site: Ceres, J. W. Wooloughan's, and the Promenade Cafe. Staff at all three were pleasant and accommodating. Food selections were very good.
“New Year's Getaway with girlfriend”
The bathroom is completely remodeled. The only furnishings that appear a little worn are the furniture in the room, which did not appear to have been replaced in the last remodel.
“Very beautiful, comfortable place. The gardens & pool area are a must see. Would definely return.”
Really enjoyed our stay. Food, accommodations and service were outstanding. We only had 2 frustrations: firstly, (and this was a big one & may make us decide to stay at "Suncoast"),was that we found the hotel shuttle's frequency, times to the strip, no shuttle "TO" the hotel from the airport and "fees" to take you to the airport" very inconvenient. Although Marriot is a much prettier hotel and costs more, "Suncoast Hotel" definetly outshines The Marriot in its shuttle service. We actually ended up spending a lot of time at Suncoast because we would walk over there to use their shuttle to the strip and end up lingering to gamble, drink and snack. Secondly, a dirty pair of undies and bleaching trays sat in our bathroom cupboards all week (not ours!!) suggests a more thorough room cleaning should be done b4 new guests come in.
“Wonderful Place to stay!”
This is the nicest place I have ever stayed at in Las Vegas. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance, until the moment we left everthing was perfect. The room are nothing short of perfection with Jaccuzi Tub, overhead shower, travertine floors. The beds were very comfortable. I like how the hotel rooms although attatched to casino, seemed like they were away from casino hustle and bustle. I can't wait to go back.
