Excellent Vegas resort (family friendly)
Posted Jan 16, 2013
Pros: Service, location , room cleanliness, Pool and pool bar service and food and beverage quality
Cons: Irish Pub in the promenade
Location: Amazing location overlooking the mountains arround Vegas
Great location, amazing facilities and very friendly staff. If anyone thinks that Vegas is not for families this resort will prove you wrong. Stuning grounds and they even provided us with a crib for my ten month old daughte. Salt water pool and complementary valet were only some of the great services. What shocked us was how not expensive this place was. Definitely recomend and will be back. ( the only bad note was the extremely bad service at the irish pub in the promenade. We walked away because nobody served us)

Beautiful hotel in great area, away from the Strip
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Beautiful room and great location.
Cons: No fridge in the room.
Location: It's in a very nice area with lots of amenities and easy-access to major highways. Also, a mere 15 minutes from Red Rock Canyon.
We didn't go to Las Vegas for the Strip, but rather as a lovely spot to celebrate our anniversary by visiting the natural wonders of the desert Southwest. The hotel is really lovely, the staff responsive and friendly, and the facilities are great. I do wish they had a refrigerator in each room because with the heat outside, it would be great to keep water bottles cold. Also, the area right around the casino is, as you'd expect, pretty smoky. But we used the hotel as a base to visit Death Valley, the nearby mountains, Hoover Dam, and further-away places like Zion National Park and even the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. (The Grand Canyon is really far, by the way, which we didn't adequately anticipate.) At any rate, I recommend this hotel as a delightful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Vegas. There are many amenities in the immediate area, as well.

Lovely hotel
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Rooms, beautifully landscaped grounds, reasonable price. Great spa. No smell of smoke. Can get into hotel without going thru casino.
Cons: Valet service in palm tower.
Location: Golf
We had Separate reservations for 4 night stay--added on a day. Upon arrival, front desk commented that they may have to move us which felt odd. Fortunately, it didn't happen. Stayed in Palm Tower which was nice and quiet. Only issue was you couldn't call down to Valet for car to be brought up. Spa was very nice with lots of treatments, saunas, jacuzzis. The outdoor pool area is quite pleasant however, water temperature was freezing--much colder than main pool--despite the warm weather outside. Additionally, there were not enough chairs for number of guests. We plan to come back.

No need to even leave the property!
Posted Jan 6, 2013
What a beautiful property! Lush, fragrant, mature landscaping (smelled like Hawaii!), gorgeous pool area, etc. There were some items in the spa area that were in need of repairs, as they were out of commission, but I'm sure they're on it. I would like to see mini-fridges and microwaves in the room, but we were able to secure both for our stay, so it was not an issue. I actually needed them for a medical issue, and the staff did everything they could to get them into our room as soon as possible. Even the casino was not as smoky and gross as most of them are on the strip. We checked in Saturday evening, and didn't even leave the property until we checked out on Tuesday. There was no need. We had a perfect trip.

Very Good Facilities and Resort
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Cons: Door noise and TV channel reception (needs to be HiDef)
Location: Great mall nearby with nice restaurants. Kona Grill was fun as was the Tivolli Mall.
Fell in love with the property. Well maintained. Room and bathroom was big and clean. On the negative side: I liked everything about this property except for the fact that the walls are made out of paper. Every time our neighbor closed his door our bed shook. We could hear his phone going off all the time. They should seriously consider putting signs in each room asking everyone to close their doors gently (main reason why I couldn't give them a 5/5). I also don't understand why their TV didn't get HiDef channels. Come on guys, its 2013 get with it. Other than those issues, it was a great place to stay and I will recommend it to my friends and family.

weekend stay
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: The beds were very comfortable, room was good sized, hotel was clean, and loved that it was away from the strip.
We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but it was nice to come back to a quiet place after 12 hours on the strip. Had breakfast at the cafe one morning, the food was good, but the cafe was too close to smoke from casino. Overall a good experience. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel away from the strip
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: Clean, spacious, alot of things to do inside the hotel (spa, pool, sauna, golf etc).
Cons: Complimentary rides from the strip to the report regularly
Location: The Strip is a $40-$50 cab ride away.
I stayed at JW Marriott for a wedding. The resort was beautiful and had all the facilities. The front desk staff were not helpful as I had hoped for but not terrible.

Excellent Staycation spot!
Posted Jan 30, 2013
Pros: We loved the pool. Very tropical and relaxing.
Location: Very close to Tivoli Village - great shopping and restaurants. Close to the freeway and can be on the strip in 15 minutes.
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and had the best time! We reserved the 1 bedroom suite with 2 balconies overlooking the beautiful grounds. The room was very spacious and luxurious. The hotel staff was amazing! I find most places have forgotten what customer service is but not the JW Marriott. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We were very impressed with everything. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful weekend!! We'll be back again soon!

Nice resort, family friendly!
Posted Jan 24, 2013
Pros: Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Quiet and clean surrounding neighborhood.
Location: Minutes from the Vegas Strip. Clean and quiet town.
Loved this hotel! Check-in was fast. Good service at front desk. Room was spacious and very clean. Wonderful view of hills and quiet surrounding area. I took my 2 children here, so we spent a lot of time at the pool. It definately has a clean resort feel, not the typical smoke smelling overpacked party hotel/pool.

Upgrade not delivered
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: See above
Our only disappointment with the hotel was not receiving the room we had paid extra for. We upgraded to a garden terrace room, forgoing the room with breakfast included. When we arrived we were told we could not have a garden terrace room, but would be given a room with a balcony. What we didn't expect was a Juliette balcony, which we were unable to sit out on. I expressed my disappointment to the desk clerk the next day and she did give us one free breakfast. Still it was disappointing.
