Good stay
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Pros: Good location to where I was working in Las Vegas.
Cons: The surrounding business and neighborhood.
Location: The neighborhood was depressing looking and the people living there didn't appeal.
breakfast was ok but limited in variety and quality of what was being served. Noise from the local Walmart, traffic, and housing projects could be heard inside room. The location of the hotel in proximity to the surrounding neighborhood was a drawback.

Excellent hotel for family
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, speedy wifi, cleanliness, staff
Cons: None.
Location: Spotted a few people outside the hotel, who appeared to be seedy.
Everything about the hotel is good. Great typical LQ breakfast, free wifi, plenty of pillows, clean nice room, with quiet air conditioner. 10-12 minutes away from the strip, but easily accessible. No road noise, plenty of parking.

Great weekend rates for Vegas
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Room is clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is more than adequate (but not spectacular).
Cons: Entering requires driving around in a big triangle from Craig Road. There's only one entrance to the property and it is inconvenient.
Location: There's two McDonald's and a Walmart (one McD in the Walmart) right next door. Other restaurants nearby too.
Stayed here as part of a Vegas trip. We were spending the first few days taking day trips out of the city (e.g., Valley of Fire), so we didn't want to pay the exorbitant Saturday rates every hotel on the Vegas strip has. This place worked great. It's not next to the freeway, but it works well enough.

Comfortable and Convenient
Posted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy. The bathroom counter is small. Not much space to put items on it. Large screen tv was good. Had a coffee maker. The breakfast was very nice. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, assorted cereals, danish pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles, orange juice, coffee, bagels and fruit. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. They have an indoor swimming pool and spa. Nice place if you have business in North Las Vegas.

Very helpful staff

We had a good experience during our last stay. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The Walmart nearby had a lot to be desired, but it was away from The Strip and near the Air Force base. It met all of my expectations.

luxury hotel but far from the Strip
Posted Jan 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful stay at this La Quinta! Spacious room with a big bathtub (yes, in the room), very comfortable bed, soft pillows. The breakfast includes omelets with sausages, hard-boiled eggs, etc, more than sufficient. Friendly staff. The only flaw is the hotel is far from the Strip. But you can drive and park at the Circus Circus parking lot (it's free) and then walk or use monorail.
