Nice hotelPosted Jul 24, 2014
The only two problems that I had were that the carpets smelt bad and that the windows didn't open.

Very nice.Posted Jul 15, 2014
I had a very relaxing stay. The room was clean and quiet, staff was great and the view of the strip and airplanes taking off was a plus. I traveled with my son, mom and large dog and we all had a pleasant stay.

A nice surprise !Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Excellent quality/price ratio. Quiet hotel, nice room, complimentary water bottles, a large variety of food for breakfast,
Cons: Maybe revamping the pool area a bit.
Last stop of our 2-week family road trip (with 2 teens), we stayed only 1 night before taking our flight back home. We were highly and pleasently surprised by the quality of the hotel compared to the price. The location isn't the most glamourous for sure, as you can hardly be closer to the airport. But it makes the access from/to airport very easy, and it is in fact only a few minutes drive from the Strip. And keep in mind that the McCarran airport is in the middle of the town anyways. The noise isolation must be good, as the air traffic didn't bother our sleep at all. Checking out at 12, we could leave our luggages in the locker of the hotel up until our departure to the airport at 8:30 PM.

Convenient to the airportPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: I liked the waterfall in the lobby and the free bottled water in the room (which helped with dryness), and the simple, good, free wifi.
Location: The hotel is close to the airport, but I cannot comment on anything else nearby.
This was an excellent choice for an overnight stay prior to an early flight. It would be a bit too far from the convention center, which was my purpose for being in Las Vegas.

Nice hotel but found it a bit noisy!Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: We liked the fact it had a free shuttle service which was a reason for staying.
We stayed here on our return to Vegas because we didn't want to stay on the strip for our final night. Our plan was to check in and drop bags in the room, drive to the Strip to grab Dinner and have some final night fun before getting a taxi back. We got there 10 minutes before check in time, but the room wouldn't be ready for another hour! We were very nearly late getting the car back because of this. We were put on the bottom floor which had a lot of foot fall so was noisy. When you add the planes and all the other hotel noise it just seemed to add up

Quick TripPosted Jun 24, 2014
i only had to spend the night in vegas so was in and out of this hotel within 7 hours. It was easy to get to this hotel, avoiding the strip altogether which is exactly what i wanted. check in and check out both quick and flawless. The room was very clean. The bed was WOW so comfortable. Pillowtopped matresses really make a difference.

Close to airport, clean & nicePosted Jun 15, 2014
4 not 5 because bed could be better and breakfast was not up to normal hotel standards: no hot eggs or meat and ran out of some stuff. Was well lighted for security. Walk to room was long.

Great Stay away from the StripPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: The beds were nice, and soft like cotton and very comfortable to sleep on. The staff were nice.
Cons: The coffee in the room tasted really bad. There are better coffee (K-Cups) out there!! The breakfast buffet need a change every few days!!
Location: This La Quinta is away from the Strip and only convenient if you have a vehicle. We did not have a vehicle, therefore we did not explore the area.
Our family had a wonderful stay at the La Quinta. We arrived by Allegiant Air late Tuesday afternoon, took a cab to the LQ, it cost us $25 for the short 10 minute ride!! It was blazing hot outside, we needed ice but found that the ice machine was not working on the 2nd and 3rd floor, so we got our ice on the 1st floor. To get to the Vegas Strip, you have to call reception for a shuttle and they run them 24/7 on the hour. We had not problems here. We actually enjoyed being shuttled, just remember to give the driver a tip!! Every morning we had the complimentary breakfast. It is just a simple breakfast, no bacon and scrabbled eggs. After the second day, we found it boring, always the same items. The menu could do a little change every couple of days. This is my 3rd trip to Vegas. I have done from driving my car, to staying at the Strip and taking the public transportation. I recommend this LQ only to people who have done Vegas, not for first timers. First time visitors should stay at the Strip.
