Pros: A little bit off from the strip but quiet and comfy.
I liked this hotel because it was a little bit off from the strip. It was a quiet hotel, comfy, and clean. Maybe the hotel room was small itself but the furniture were new and the room was clean and pleasing. I will also rate the hotel personnel from ok to pleasing.

We travel to Vegas at least one weekend a month and we stay all over. Now that we have stayed here, we always want to stay here! We love the modern, welcoming feel of this Marriott. The restaurant down stairs is great we had the shrimp cocktail and steak salad!

Unfriendly receptionist

When we checked in the electricity was out. It was just not Marriott but I guess the whole block. We got there late afternoon but could not take a shower since no hot water . Nonetheless the staff were apologetic and very friendly when we checked in. However, the next day I called @ around 8 am requesting if we could have a late checkout at least one hour. The receptionist who answered the phone was very brusque, unfriendly on the phone and just said no you cannot have a late checkout. No explanation whether they are fully booked. I could have told her the inconvenienced we experienced when we checked in, but I just let it go. She was not customer friendly at all so I guess will not stay with them again nor recommend them.

Nice hotel, but could be better for being Marriott

Pros: The beds were nice, the curtains were blackout, I liked the room service.
Cons: The price for what you actually get is steep.
Location: It is near the convention center - not much else.
It was an okay hotel. The room was nice enough. For the price, you might as well go closer to the strip, though. I wish it had a casino at the bottom. It looks a lot closer to the strip than it actually is. The beds were comfortable, though, and room service was yummy.

a lack of apologies..

I must say i am a bit upset with the Marriott Las Vegas. I specifically ordered a room with a king size bed and a sofabed. Upon our arrival, we were too busy getting ready in the room so therefore we didn't notice that our bed was not a sofa bed. When we got back to our hotel at 5 AM (it's vegas) we realized that the bed was not a sofa bed, so half of us had to sleep on the floor. This was very annoying to us. The next morning i made a phone call to the downstairs front desk twice with them telling me that housekeeping was going to check u on this, 45 minutes later still no housekeeping. I decided to take action myself and go downstairs to ask for the front desk manager. She told me that she never promised me a pull out bed, and said she will change my room. No apologize, no sorries. This left me very upset, but at least they provided us with a new room. Also if you ask them to get you a taxi, dont expect it. I had to wave down taxis myself both night. I won't be back.
