Very bad hotel on the stripPosted Aug 19, 2014
Ive been to Vegas plenty of times i am a frequent traveler, and various buisness occasions i pay for my stay. I decited to spend my Birthday here, i know what a decent Hotel & Resort is but this was my worst and last at the Luxor. Very bad service at the check-in, as i ask the rep. for specific room location, did not care to listen,or respond,as i am willing to pay good $ for upgrades, disrespectful to my Wife, As i was speaking to the representative, horrible room. (Roof leak,Restroom was garbage, dirty, shower head rusty, filthy, dusty, Iron had stain from previous users ruined my white shirt.)Room service at 11am opens my door while in the room,-changing ready for depart(no knocking or privacy provided)the only great service i had was at the Valet parking great job to Richard one of the best valet even tho i waited 35-40 min. for car arrival as it was a busy weekend(very polite and caring). My wife and I will not return here ever. Very disapointed with my stay! And cannot recommend this place to any friend or family member. I tried speaking to management but no one was available therefore i did express check-out from the room quick and easy. No if or buts over the phone ad i was disapoited already.

Quiet Luxor.....Posted Aug 19, 2014
I love staying at the Luxor! This was my second trip there solo. The rooms are quiet, huge, and sooo clean. All the staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend staying in the pyramid!

Had everything needed.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The hotel had everything we wanted to experience in Vegas.
Location: There are trams available to get you from one end of the strip to the other.
We chose Luxor for the location, entertainment and nightlife.

Poor air-conditioningPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The lobby was cool but not our first room assignment.
Cons: Air-conditioning in many of the rooms. Truth in advertising and have all expenses included so different Las Vegas properties can be fairly compared.
Our west-facing room on the 22nd floor could not keep up with they 106 F. heat outside. The room temperature was in the eighties. We were able to be relocated to a West Tower room which was nicely cool. For the $200 we paid for the room, the air-conditioning should work flawlessly. The tacked on "resort fee" of $22.40 for services we didn't utilize is a crime and just another way the hotel increases their revenue unfairly. The internet access advertised in the room is only for hard-wired laptops. There is no WI-FI in the rooms. This is antiquated when so many people have tablets and smart phones. The advertised $20 credit for meals is only at their most expensive restaurants and not at the deli or cafe.

Nice hotel with fun activities.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Nice pool and dining options. Enjoyed the shows and dining options.
Cons: Temperature of the room - it was just too warm.
Location: Far end of the strip, but the tram made it easy.
Lots of fun, many things to see and do...................................................................................................

Great ValuePosted Aug 18, 2014
Stayed in Vegas the week after the 4th of July and had a blast. For the price you pay I thought the Luxor was great. Rooms were clean, and everything worked in the rooms. Location was good, short walk to get to the middle of the strip.
