Great value hotel

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Fun architecture, nice casino and resort. Rooms weren't over the top, but comfortable and well suited for a vegas trip. Staff was very nice, food at the MORE buffet was delicious. Location is a bit south but still very realistic walking distance to most attractions. Will return.

Luxor Experience

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the strip and the Tram goes there as well. Also in the basement there is a buffet for breakfast or lunch which is fairly reasonable.
Cons: WiFi was only accessible in the lobby unless you bring your own cable. Other then that not much else
Location: The strip is close and there are lots of shop and acitivites
This was a package deal with flight is why we choose this hotel. It's nice and when we checked in according to the front desk we received a "Free upgrade to the East Tower". I have not stayed in the main pyramid before but the view from the room and distance to the lobby etc. is definetly not an upgrade. I would say if your offered the same to take a pass. The rooms are dated but then again how much time do you spend in the room when in Vegas. Whats important is they are very clean and the staff was great.

Nice Hotel, Great Price

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: I liked the spacious casino floor and the food and bar options within the hotel
Cons: Wish there were more inexpensive options to get to the other side of Vegas without waiting for so long.
Location: At the south end of the strip, connected to Mandalay Bay and Excaliber which is nice. There are plenty of things to do all along the strip.
We stayed 4 days, 3 nights at this hotel for a friend's 30th birthday celebration. The hotel was very big, with lots of food and service accommodations.

First Visit to Las Vegas

Posted Sep 29, 2014
This is one of the older hotels in Vegas and it's looking its age. If you think of Ceasar's Palace as the "center" of the Strip the Luxor is a bit removed. The Luxor is a big, crowded property. If we go back, we would look for a smaller, more luxe place. Restaurants at the Hotel were not the best. Overall, so-so Hotel.

Cheap and Cheerful :)

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: style, bars, staff
Location: lots of shows in nearby hotels and this hotel. easy enough to access rest of strip
Nice clean looking hotel. Staff accommodating. Comfy beds.. problem with air con rectified quickly. Location, be prepared to walk lots or make use of bus/tram as it is a little out of the way but that's why it is cheaper priced.

Good Clear, large room

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Large room clean room
Cons: lifts,
Location: location is a little away from the main centre of the strip, making it a little quieter than some of the newer hotels.
Large room, had a room on the 22nd floor great view from the balcony looking over the interior of the hotel. The only problem is the lifts. Always allow extra time as they can be a bit slow.

Very comforting and Relaxing

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: It was very comfortable and quiet. The beds and bedding were very nice and the staff and room were excellent.
Cons: I would like a sign in the elevators to HOLD ON.
Location: You're in Las Vegas. Anything you want is near. Use Valet if you drive, at every hotel you visit!!! And use the bell service desk for your luggage.
I loved the fact that they carried the Egyptian theme all the way into the rooms. The room was very comfortable and the beds were so soft and luxurious. Everyone was very nice. I was a little taken aback by the elevators though. You have to stay at least one night here. It's an experience in itself.
