Close to trade show but not for businessmen.Posted Jan 26, 2015
The hotel is clean and conveniently located a short tram ride from the Mandalay bay conference centre where the show I was attending was being held. The problems where as follows: No proper desk and chair in the room, no WIFI connection only a lan connection so no iPad or iPhone wireless use, and no fridge to keep anything cold.

Very nice hotel. Open inside building.Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: I like the inside of the building. Felt not in close in like the other hotel we visited. Good food and buffet.
Cons: Not really.
Location: It is almost at the end of Las Vegas Strip.
When we got there they up graded our room. it was very quiet.

Not recommendedPosted Jan 26, 2015
If you like staying at the Holiday Inn then you'll enjoy this hotel. I was there for the flooring show and stayed at the Luxor for one night. The staff was great. The room was terrible even though I got an upgrade. The rooms are outdated. There's mold in the bathroom. The decor is super outdated. Reminds me of a motel. Not at all what I had expected for the price and the location.

Enjoyable stayPosted Jan 26, 2015
Location: It sits between the Mandalay Bay and the Excaliber, lots to do.
The Luxor is starting to show its age in the little things...the bathrooms could use an updating, etc. But overall we really enjoyed our stay there, and will go back again. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous and cheerful...regardless of the time, day or night. The rooms were quite and comfortable. The elevators to higher floors are "inclinatiors" due to the hotels shape and are an experience in and of itself.

Gut und GünstigPosted Jan 26, 2015
Am Ende des Las Vegas BLVD gelegen. Schönes Hotel wenn man kein Luxushotel sucht. Mit einem Zug kommt man schnell zu anderen Hotels.

"Old Glory"Posted Jan 25, 2015
Stayed here 4 times over the past 6 years and it is definitely fading. This was my first time in the Tower rooms which although newer seemed to be showing age and wear prematurely compared with the Pyramid rooms. Lack of a refrigerator in the room and the long trek from entry to the tower were two notable negatives. I think my next stay in 2015 will be back at Bellagio or Venetian. I was in Vegas for 10 days at a conference and a little R&R and the added cost of the alternatives would be worth the extra dollars. In this day and age with a Resort Fee attached to the room cost at checkin you would think that free wifi in the rooms would be a given but not so in the Luxor. Free wifi is only available in "public" areas. All in all it was an "average" experience.

Very good for the price-Smell is a little strangePosted Jan 25, 2015
Cons: The stalking air in the rooms.
Location: A bit far from the actions The flamingo is more in the right area.
Very nice room for the price but there is a stalking smell in the room. I guess that it's due to the fact that you can obviously not open the windows and the smoking in the casino. You have to keep the fan on. I would go back anyway.
