great hotel great pools

I've stayed in afew hotels on the strip but since I stayed here this is the only place I'll stay now this was my 5th time the pools are fantastic the vibe in the hotel is buzzing there always seams to be something going off,a great place to stay

Just spent 4 days at the MGM and it was a pleasant experience. All the staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nice

Handy hotel for getting around Las Vegas

Check in was easy, smooth, after very long lines at Reception. The customer service man was excellent professional & helpful, could have been the GM for his calm, friendly manner . If not, then train others to be like he is. Everything else as would expect , including helpful cleaning staff and room service personnel , especially as we had two small children in our party. Only fly in ointment was surprise at emailed bill being different to that quoted and paid via phone on morning of check out. It was about $100.00 more .

Forgot prescription glasses in hotel room. Housekeepers pocketed them. Hotel crowded everywhere you went. 20 minute walk to pools which were also extremely crowded.

Terrible room without a view

Pros: Nothing
Cons: A lot, I need to write a book on this.
Location: Everything is far from this hotel because it is at the end of the strip, if you are here for the hotel, then it is a good place to stay.
The staffs are not happy, and not really like to help. Our room is on the 4th floor without a window, and we need to walk a mile to get there. Parking garage is another mile away, everything is so far apart. The location is at the end of the strip, so make sure you plan anything ahead of time. There is nothing special about the room, other than the noisy air conditioner next to your bed.

Beautiful place with a great pool complex.

Pros: Style, and staff were what you come to the MGM Grand for and it provides both with spades.
Cons: I would have liked an in room coffee pot and a fridge that we could put out own drinks in. Forget the mini bar.
Location: The raft trip from the Hover Dam was super!
During the day the most relaxing place to be was the lazy river (we spent and afternoon there and loved every minute of it). At night the energy of the casino and the visitors was what Las Vegas is known for. Super fun. Loved the Strip and sites it offered. We drove from Oklahoma to Las Vegas and loved the trip. A day after returning I was ready to head back. I will do it again, as soon as I can. We sure walked a lot and it was worth every step.
