First time at this hotel.

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Of all the hotels downtown including Golden Nuget,I enjoyed this one the most. The food at the buffet was good and the micro brewery had very good food and some tasty beer selections. Good service throughout, clean spacious rooms and a relaxed atmosphere.

Close to all amenities.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Interesting antiques, staff.
Cons: Some upgrades may be needed, but overall nice place to stay.
Location: Location is in old Vegas, so it may not be the best area to walk in late at night. I didn't set out "on foot" so i may be wrong about that.
Was able to book a room on the spot at a very reasonable rate.

A surprising find!

Posted Jul 15, 2014
The hotel staff was very attentive. The hotel being rustic is well maintained. Our room was very clean but the bathroom was a little small. The 777 microbrewery and the buffet offer a great selection of foods. Will definitely stay there again.

The best smorg!

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Smorg, quiet rooms, cleanliness, fast elevators, parking close by, casino
Cons: the bathrooms could use some updating especially the shower...
Location: So close to Freemont St., gambling, dining, shopping
Had a wonderful week here. Rooms very clean, quiet, food was wonderful at the smorg (best we have ever had), prices were great and it made our 25th anniversary a holiday to remember. Will definitely be back.

Accommodating staff

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Staff are very professional and quick to respond, the only issue we encountered was air conditioning in our room not functioning well/not cold enough causing discomfort to my kids.

Pros: The Buffett
Cons: Get a coffee/pastry vendor
Location: Downtown is close for things to do
This property has no place to buy coffee or a coffee shop. The Buffett was good

Great hotel, conveniently located

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Loved the "old fashioned" décor. Mirrors, wood and lighting. Great restaurant and buffet. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: The rooms looked clean until you looked up at the ceiling and vents, and the blinds were a bit dusty. Overall it was alright.
Location: Easy access to the expressway to get to the strip but a quieter location which was nice. Walking distance to other casinos.
Loved the décor. Lots of wood and mirrors from a by gone era. The food in the restaurant and the buffet was excellent. Will definitely stay here again. Very nice and friendly staff.
