Met or exceeded expectations in every way

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Upgraded room for free, nice casino, plenty of restaurant choices, great pool.
Cons: Housekeeping comes a little too early in the morning.
Stayed 4 nights at Mandalay Bay and had a great experience. They were out of deluxe rooms, so we were upgraded at no cost. Everything you needed was close by, unless you wanted something cheap. Happy with the room, the casino, the restaurant options, the pool, etc. Wish that housekeeping didn't come quite so early. Being at the south end of the strip, it was quite a walk to the center, but everything you needed was right there or within walking distance.

Lots of glitz, lacking in the details.

Having stayed at Mandalay Bay before (albeit a few years ago), I expected the normal high quality. I was disappointed. Upon check-in, it turns out they gave away our room. Instead of doing the right thing and upgrading us, they downgraded us and offered us breakfast. They did take the "resort fee" off the bill also. This was after we stood at the front desk for over 20 minutes after a 24+ hour drive. No other apology, explanation, or attempt to rectify the situation was made. Besides that, it is a very nice and beautiful facility. Nothing seems cheap or tacky. Workers are friendly. The bellman and valets are simply phenomenal. They are friendly, courteous, and prompt with service.

Cons: in room coffee
Loved the pool area, lazy river great fun. One thing that was disappointing is no in room coffee. With the cost of rooms you would think they could supply free coffee.

Beautiful hotel!!! We ended up staying in the Delano hotel of Mandalay Bay which is a little further away but a really nice place with BIG rooms and a cool hip stylish theme. The pool area was nice, but very crowded and a far from the hotel room. We stopped in Vegas after a road trip from Sedona to Grand Canyon to Zion and before California so we were staying at smaller hotels with quiet pools and grounds with totally different atmospheres. Overall a nice hotel with easy parking at Delano section and an extra pool for Delano guests only. Room had a separate living room, an extra half bath and a huge shower and separate waterfall type LARGE tub!

Really nice hotel on the south side of the Strip.

The hotel is very nice. People are friendly and the beach is really cool. Lots of kid at the wave pool but more relaxing at the pool.. The room are spacious and really nice. The show THE ONE at Mandalay Bay is a must. Don't sit in the first quarter of the theater. You will miss some effects. I will recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Pros: Room size
Cons: Cheper water $6.50 for a small bottle.
Thought we had booked Mandalay Bay but at check in we found out it was Delano so check the small print. Not dissapointed though good room size , comfortable beds plenty of room for two aduots and two teenagers.

Sehr großes Hotel, typisch Las Vegas,

Posted Aug 2, 2015
New York New York Hotel".
