The facility was amazing and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Everything you need is readily available on site and the staff are very attentive to their guests' needs. This stay helped to make our experience in Las Vegas awesome!

You either love or hate Vegas, but the Mandalay has quality rooms, excellent staff and loads of amenities. Easy to get to rest of strip by tram or cab.

disappointed

Pros: one restaurant the food was great and priced well
Cons: price per room, you are paying for an up scale hotel which is not the case very outdated!
the room was very out dated, the floor was dirty and the setting area had ink writing all over. there was no coffee maker in the room which makes for a uncomfortable morning. The valet parking was awful our SVU was not marked, resulted in us waiting 25+ minutes for our car to arrive which made us late for our show. first time staying in this hotel very very disappointed.

Pros: As usually the pool was just what we were looking for We wanted a beach in Las Vegas. The wave pool and lazy rivers with the sand at your feet.
Cons: Carpets and lighting. Also have other food options available by the pool. Only snack bar was open because of season.
Location: Its the quite end of the strip.
My wife and I stayed at Mandalay 12 years ago and we had a great time then. We've also visited last year to go the the Michael Jackson One show. However, the Hotel is showing signs of age. The are mostly small things, but noticeable. We had no issues checking in or getting a room, however, they couldn't accomodate us with a King bed and high stip view, so we settled for the King with the pool view. The room was fine, small things like the cable tv had trouble getting a signal and some wear on the furniture. Overall, the rooms and casino could use new carpet and brigher lighting. This combination make the place look dingy compare to other places we've visited. Once day our room wasn't made up and we were also short on towels, otherwise, I would have rated the staff higher. The front desk staff was great. Food was also excellent for the meals we had on the property. The service and food were excellent at the Veranda on the Four Season part of the property. We ate outside and were treated very well. The sushi at the casino sushi bar was also excellent. We liked it so much we got it for lunch and brought it out to the pool. We also enjoyed breakfast at Della's Kitchen in the Delano portion Farm to Table made the food top self. You also must go up to the Foundation room on the top floor for drinks and apps. Go at sunset and watch the stip come alive.

Great Stay

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Pool, spa, casino
Cons: Food was mediocre at best
Location: Pretty far from everything on the Strip, so either you need to walk far to get to other resorts or just take a taxi.
Nice hotel with a great pool and amenities. A little far from everything else on the Strip, but worth it for the pool and spa.
