Always a great hotel!Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Room sizes
Cons: Reserved suite w/2 queen beds, when we tried checking in, check in agent said they didn't have any left. After much haggle we got one. Need a new pool
Location: On the strip
Everything was clean, comfortable and up to par. Would be nice if they upgraded or remodeled the pool area.

Pros: not sure
Cons: most everything.
Location: last hotel on the strip, but has a tram to get down to NY NY. Liquor store across the street, probably the best thing this place has going for it.
random stains on things in the room, lamp shade? not sure how you stain that, nor do i want to know. cleaning staff clearly didn't wipe down surfaces, marks from glasses and fingerprints easily seen. carpets in hallway to room had multiple stains. Only hotel i have stayed at in Vegas that didn't give me a complimentary bottle of champaigne, and it was also my birthday. not going back.

Oasis near airportPosted Apr 22, 2014
Cons: Have some more amenities. Open all pools or have a free adult only pool
Location: Mostly other hotels
If you like the sound of Jets all its ok. Rooms were clean and nicely accommodated. The Hotel seems to nickel and dime you at every turn. No free internet or WIFI. If you want to got the pool one pool is actually a pay entry to avoid the kids and another there is no entry allowed as its for another wing of the same hotel so you are generally stuck with kids around you. They charge a daily facilities charge of $25 a day weather you use them of not. No coffee pot in room. The cheapest Motel room has that offered but Vegas does not.

Absolutely amazing experience at Mandalay Bay! Our room was huge and very clean! All hotel staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the fact that we were charged extra for each night, on top of what was already paid when we booked our stay (we stayed three nights and we're charged $84). Other than that everything else was great!

Mandalay stay with kidsPosted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: The buffet was a little pricey at $36 dinner for adults, less for kids 12 under, but its a good. Consider Luxor and Excaliber next door for deals.
Cons: Everything was expansive. Consider pricing everything you sell a bit lower and sell more. $7 for a singe can of beer, $3 for a can of coke is crazy.
Location: Located at one end of the strip, but fairly easy to get around.
We stayed at Mandalay Bay over spring break. Overall the hotel is fine, very large over 3000 rooms. Our kids our age is 16, 14, and 12. The hotel wanted to give us a joining rooms,, but what we really wanted was connecting rooms. They were finally able to put us in connecting rooms on the 5th floor, and that was fine with us. The rooms were good sized, with 2 queen beds per room, but we noticed the carpet was badly worn, and the room needed an update as it looked dated. We were warned that we would be charged if the room fridge was even opened, or if the bar food - chips, peanuts, ect, on top of the main dresser were moved - so beware. Those $2 items run $10- $15. That said, the rooms were basically clean, the water pressure good, and towels were plentiful. The pool area is large, but not for 3000 rooms. They let you bring water and basic drinks (not glass bottles however). The wave pool is weak, 2' waves. The lazy river was OK, but you had to buy tubes @ $18-22 each, or you could get the same things at Walmart for $10 and bring them in. Get there early if you want a seat (it opens at 8 am and closes at an early 7 pm).

Paradise!Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Beach/Pool/Lazy River, great smelling lotions they provide, overall appearance of the resort
Cons: Fitted bed sheets and extended pool hours (but make it for adult only swim during evening)
This was our 2nd stay at Mandalay Bay, and it never disappoints. The resort is gorgeous, staff are great, and the beach/pool area is the best around! We prefer the pool view room, but may try for a strip view our next trip. We love the convenience of having access to the express tram to Excaliber as well. We will definitley be return guests at this fabulous resort.

Nice Hotel close to the stripPosted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: The pool is a great place sit and enjoy some sun
Location: everything was within walking distance which made getting to the strip at easier
The hotel was recommend by a friend and was quite pleased with the hotel, the pool was breathtaking. I wished I would have more time to spend at the pool. The only problem I had was at night we managed to get on a floor where the other guest weren't very considerate of other guest that didn't stay up all night.

We loved the hotel it was beautiful inside always very clean. The staff very polite and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool area was always very busy but the lifeguards walking around offered to find you a bed.We got lost the first few days as the hotel is so big but soon found our way around Would definitely go back.Shaws
