True 5 star luxury and service

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The whole property is outstanding, the pool area is quiet and service is exemplary, the gym is great, and the rooms are beautiful.
Cons: Nothing, keep it as is for me!
Location: Right in the middle of City Center, bars, clubs, gambling, high end and mid range shopping just a few minutes walk.
We have just returned from a 10 night stay. This is our 7th trip to Vegas always for 10 nights, we have stayed in some amazing hotels and some gorgeous rooms in Vegas but the Mandarin surpasses anything on the strip in my view. If you want to be in the thick of the Vegas madness then this is not the hotel for you, however if you want to experience real five star luxury and service in a quieter calm environment whilst still being a short walk to amazing restaurants and great shopping then stay here! Everything about the Mandarin is fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

Las Vegas Gem!

Beautiful hotel, clean and ideally located. Every single demand was met with impeccable precision. The concierge was informative, friendly and down to earth and were very helpful in assisting with the day to day excursions, with specific thanks to a lovely lady called Megan. I can't wait to go back!!

Great hotel pm the strip with no casino

Brilliant service, well appointed and the benefits of being on the strip without an onsite casino. Sunday brunch at MOzen was really good. If you stay be sure to reserve a cabana by the pool.

This hotel is everything I could ever ask for and more. A little pricey but trust me when I say it is well worth it. Enjoy the loud and crazy strip them return back to this hotel for peace and solitude!

Understated elegance

Posted Aug 26, 2014
I've stayed twice here and wouldn't stay anywhere else. I don't come to Vegas to gamble. Instead, I enjoy the concerts, shopping, resort and spa experience. I only stay at Mandarin Oriental so I can enjoy all those things at a 5 star luxury hotel. Mandarin doesn't have a casino, therefore, it's never crowded and doesn't smell like smoke. The staff is as accommodating as you would find at any 5 star resort.

Very pleasant stay

Pros - Tasteful and elegant decor in our room and throughout the hotel. - Large room with lots of window space for good views - Brilliant room amenities. The bathroom was the best I've seen, the living room was spacious and fully equipped with large TV and sound system, the bedroom also had a TV, as did the bathroom. - With the use of a bedside tablet-like device, guests can control the room temperature, the lighting, the curtains n the TV etc. Cons - You have to take 2 elevators to get to your room, one from the lobby to the 23rd floor, then another separate one to whichever floor your room is on, this got tiring after a while. - I had to wait 30 mins for my room to be ready, even though I arrived after 3pm. - The windows of our room were directly overlooking and level with the hotel pool, which was really disconcerting. We were informed that they were blacken windows and people could not see through, however, that was not entirely true as you could see through at night time if the room's lights were on (9th floor room 51). - The views from the room are not of what most people would call the main strip i.e. Bellagio, Caesars Palace, the

Pros: Concerige service which she gave excellent restaurant recommendation.
Cons: house keeping and front desk
Location: shoppings, shows and restaurants
When you check in to the front desk, the service was horrible and they try to trick you to upgrade to a larger suite with $600.00 per day which I already have the suite which I got from expedia for $600.00 per night. The Concerige was great which is the only bonus from the hotel. Although this is a five or six star hotel, the hotel only give you 1 bath gel and and 1 shampoo for your entire for 5 days. The house keeping will not clean up your room even you ask them to clean it and 4 hours later when you come back the room is still not done.

Asian comfort in Vegas

Posted Aug 22, 2014
There is a conscious at the Mandarin Las Vegas to be of service to their guests. This is embedded in the Mandarin mantra. While it's not fair to compare the Las Vegas Mandarin to their Hong Kong or Bangkok counterparts, they are really trying to live up to customer expectations. I commend them and would stay here again myself.
