Close to Las Vegas Blvd.

Pros: The rooms are clean
Cons: The front desk lady. Better pillows. More features in room, maybe a microwave would be nice.
Location: Is right by the Las Vegas strip. So there are hundreds of places to visit.
The front desk "lady" at the time to check in had clearly not been trained in how to be polite and professional. The hotel looks a lot better in the pictures than in real life. It is clean but very very cheap looking, the front desk that is. The rooms are ok, they are clean and have enough space for a family of 4.

convention center

Pros: location is great for convention center visitors, coffee available 24 hrs
Very close to the convention center (walking distance). If you have a congress there, Mardi Grass is a affordable choice. Shuttle to the Strip or go by monorail with a station close by.

Terrible Experience

Posted Jun 29, 2015
We were placed in a smoking room after specifically requesting a non-smoking room based on health reasons. We were told there were no other available rooms. The staff was rude and very unprofessional. When we told them that we would be leaving if they couldn't place us in a non-smoking room we were transfered to another room. Once we arrived to the new room we found out the A/C didn't stay on. It would randomly shut off, being 111 degrees outside the A/C was a necessity. There were a few broken/poorly installed items throughout the room. The rooms were pretty outdated and in need of a good cleaning and repairs.

Just OK

Pros: 50% pricing was fair for the accommodations, but certainly not worth the full price.
Cons: Rooms need an more modern update and new furniture.
Location: Within 1 mile of the strip, which was very convenient.
My 2 day stay at the Mardi Gras Hotel was satisfying. The room seemed a bit worn and outdated than the images online indicated. I appreciated the couch and coffee table, but the couch was very worn and uncomfortable. Everything functioned and the room was well maintained, it just needed a major refresh.

Rude staff, very unwelcoming property.

A miserable experience. Hotel is located on the edge of a horrible area of town. Front desk staff was incredible rude. The room was old and run down. Came with free slot play that when attempted to acquire was told by slot attendant don't bother it's not worth it? A definite no return.

Checked into hotel at about 4:30pm we were given a room, but when we went to our room the maid was still cleaning up. We had to wait another 20 minutes for her to be done. Once we went inside I noticed we had no towels in the room. I had to call the front desk to get us towels

!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Condemn it.
Location: Near the las vegas monorial, that is if you can get past the vagrants loitering outside.
Terrible experience. This dump of a hotel should be condemned. I killed a cockroach...need I say more.

Pros: The pool area was nice.
Cons: There was no ice bucket in our room and the ice machine wasn't working we had to go into the lobby to ask for ice.
Location: I didn't see anything within walking distance. but there is a bus you can catch right across the street.
We had a very nice time. We were able to get a shuttle to the strip every hour until 10pm. It would have been nicer a little later at night since that is when you can see all the hotels lit up and some of the shows in front of the hotels ex. Bellagio fountain show, Mirage volcano show. etc. The drivers were very nice. The only thing wrong with our stay was that it was over too soon.

Pros: Lots of parking, good food at the diner.
Cons: Could use an elevator, but only 3-stories.
This was a nice clean safe place to house the teenagers as they attended E.D.C. for the weekend. It's just behind the strip, convenient to food, gas and fun. Easy access to the freeway and all major streets.

Close to the strip within walking distance.

It had a great little gaming den and bar. The after hours food is not the best but it will sober you up. Breakfast was quite good wide selection of items although the bread was a little hard. The rooms were nice and roomy and clean.
