Resort Fees??????

Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: They need to renovate the rooms and update them. If they are going to charge the ridiculous resort fee maybe the wifi should work everywhere.
Location: It's located at the south end of the strip and near lots of shopping.
The Monte Carlo was ok at best. The rooms are dated and do not have a fridge in them. Upon getting there I was told I had to pay a $20/day resort fee. This was supposed to cover the very small bottle of water in my room and internet service which was unavailable in our room. The rooms were not sound proof at all. We had to be moved from our first room because the people next to us were so loud, it sounded like they were wrecking the place. In our second room while we weren't next to partiers anymore I could sing the theme song to "Friends" with their tv. Every time they went into their room it sounded like they were coming into ours. The pool was only open until 7pm and was not family friendly at all. If you are taller than 5'5 don't plan on having a shower as the shower heads are placed very low. I have stay at less expensive hotels that are much nicer and less noisy.

Bad maintenance

Pros: nothing
The hotel room is so old and poor maintenance I should have complain. Since it's only 2 days I put up with it but I would not recommend to anybody. Casino earn so much money they should have better management I am disappointed.

Nice rooms, great location. Annoying that they try to ensure you have to keep buying their overpriced food and drinks by not supplying room staples like a fridge or microwave or wifi, but that's Vegas baby!

Cons: Areas for smoking and non-smoking room
I request a non-smoking room and i get it but with a door to go to next room ,double doors so the people next door where smoking and we get all the smoke from them, because of the door ,this was awful at night time . . You should separate an area for smoking and non-smoking rooms.

Love the Lazy River

Pros: Cheap prices and location
Cons: the rooms are starting to look outdated and worn down.
Wanted a cheap getaway to Las Vegas and staying at the Monte Carlo was perfect. It is in the perfect location on the strip. I spent most of my time in the lazy river. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of chairs provided. Overall great experience.

Pros: It was very nice and easy to get around.
Cons: Construction - but it was still east to get in and out of the resort.
Location: Everything. Pool was very nice and several casino's within waling distance or a ride from the tram!
Someone had used my room number at the pool, so we had to dispute some charges and it was all completed fast and with a freindly attitude.

Very nice. The room a bit outdated but the staff and service was excellent. I would stay there again. We were there for two weeks and enjoyed it very much. We were very pleased with all of the staff. They are what made the stay so enjoyable. I would upgrade the room but definitely stay there again.

Convenient 24/7 Food Court

Pros: Convenience, price
Cons: Its clean and comfortable but decor needs to be updated
I like Monte Carlo because of their 24/7 food court. You can grab Starbucks for breakfast or a late night snack at Subway, Sbarro or McDonalds. Also, there's a tram, so its pretty easy to get around to other casinos.

Pros: location...simplicity of the layout
Cons: the sound system in the pool and in the casino is way too loud....and the selection of music is basically annoying...
Location: great location...easy to go on self-guided walking tours up and down the strip
on the whole it was a good experience...staff friendly and helpful...checkout a breeze....hotel well laid out...
