A little disappointing.Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: The restaurants were very nice. The set-up of the hotel was convenient. The Italian restaurant 's food was phenomenal.
Cons: More elevators. No unexpected fees. Staff more accommodating when problems occur.
The room was very clean and beautiful. Disappointing was the hotel key to get into my room never worked. The elevators ran so slow, and hotel registration staff did not attend to the problem of the key not working. The pool was so cold you could not swim. Charging an additional 20.00 a day for Wi-Fi, and the workout room was outrageous. I am on vacation, no need for Wi-Fi or the workout room. I came from Wisconsin for the weather, gambling and relaxation at the pool.

Nice rooms and restaurants, but some problemsPosted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Nice rooms, nice staff, comfortable beds, good food
Cons: Better sound-proofing, easier way to get to the monorail, faster food service at the pool (doesn't open til noon, takes 30 min. to get anything).
Location: Not the best - too far down the strip. There are free trams to Mandalay Bay one direction and Bellagio (thru the Monte Carlo) the other.
Pros: rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the beds are comfortable and the restaurants are good and reasonably priced. Cons: twice there was a lot of noise in the hall that kept us awake at 3am, unless you want to ride the roller coaster the hotel doesn't have much to see or do besides gambling (e.g. the shops are not extensive or exciting), the pool is in shade until almost noon because it's surrounded by buildings, and it takes forever to get to the monorail that goes down to Harrahs (all the way thru the hotel, up the escalator to the bridge and across the street, escalator into MGM and all the way through MGM--which is a long haul, look for signs for "The District" because there's only one Monorail sign in MGM) so if you want to see shows or shop or just look around in other hotels it's hard to get to them.

Awesome Room, Service and Hotel!Posted Apr 17, 2014
We LOVED staying at the New York, New York hotel! Our room was huge and comfortable. The service was incredible - especially the room service. And almost everything we wanted was right inside the hotel! Loved going to Nine Fine Irishmen every night for live Irish music, awesome drinks and fun dancing. Loved our time there. Where will we stay for our next Vegas trip??? The NEW YORK, NEW YORK!

Excellent HotelPosted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: The atmosphere, really casula and relax
Location: Excellent, walking distance from everithing you want to see and visit.
Very casual compare to other casinos so that makes it really comfortable for younger crowds. And the location is great, just on the stip.It is a totally recommendable experience.

Hotel was very nicePosted Apr 16, 2014
Hotel was very nice inside and out... the problem I have with the hotel is the patrons are allowed to smoke in the gambling areas and it is difficult to breath.

Love, love, love New York, New York!Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: I like the fact that if my husband decides to stay out later than I can stay awake, I feel comfortable and safe going back to the room by myself,
Cons: The Italian Restaurant, Il Fornaio, is not owned by NY NY. The staff and day manger are rude and make it quite clear they are separate from the hotel.
Location: The location is perfect. You're close to everything, food, shopping, gambling, even not that far from golf.
We've been going to Las Vegas for 10 or more years. We usually visit twice a year to see our son who's in the Air Force. He's stationed in Las Vegas now, before that we always booked 2 rooms, one for us, one for him. We stayed at other hotels the first couple of trips, then we found New York, New York. It's a great hotel. We don't even consider other hotels now, we just book NY, NY. It has every amenity you could ask for. We love Gallaghers, America, New York Pizzeria, Nine Fine Irishmen, the wonderful Italian bakery and coffee shop; you get the picture. The slots are great as are the tables. The bars are varied and there are many to choose from. There are the quiet ones where you can talk, then the loud noisy party bars where you can go and cut loose. The bartender in the upstairs of Nine Fine Irishmen is a great guy. We always enjoy dinner at Gallaghers, incredible food, not just steaks, the seafood and sides are exceptional. All the staff throughout the hotel are warm and always willing to be of service. Even my son recommends NY, NY to friends coming into town and their families.

Great SpotPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, atmosphere, location.
Cons: I could win more
Location: Flawless loaction on the end of the strip and is connected to MGM so my walk to the fight was very short and easy.
I love this place! It is on the end of the strip so I took a cab to the other end and walked back to take in all of the strip in one night!

Excellent hotel!Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Location was perfect
Cons: A mini-fridge would be nice.
Hotel staff, the food and the room were all exceptional! Room was clean and comfortable. I expected long lines to check in and out, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The Bell Desk personnel were so helpful and efficient.

Decent hotel at a pretty good pricePosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: We paid a little more and got the larger room and it was worth it. I stayed in the smaller one last time and it is worth the extra money.
Cons: The layout is a little strange as it follows the shape of the City Scape. You can almost get lost finding your room on the floor.
Location: At the far south end of the strip. Plenty of dining and casino action nearby with the other resorts, but a long walk if you want to see the Strip.
This is the second time we have stayed. It was a pretty good value. The rooms were generously sized. There are some good dining options in the hotel. Not as many dining options as say, the MGM Grand across the street but there are plenty of great dining options withing a 10 minute walk. It is a pretty good walk from the heart of the strip so I would bring your walking shoes.
