Decent hotelPosted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Rollercoaster; Duelling Pianos at Time Square; Mexican food; Irish pub; and best of all the MASSIVE beer selection at Toms Urban
Cons: Bathrooms need updating
Location: It's vegas - go and explore everything
If you don't like the sounds of screaming people riding the roller coaster - this probably isn't for you! But it's not that noisy... I stayed on 4th floor. Less noise if you stayed in rooms higher up... Casino as always has a whiff of smoke about it, and that takes a while to walk away from - the rooms aren't too bad though. Bathrooms could do with updating.

Nice hotel located conveniently on the strip.Posted Mar 2, 2015
The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. I thought it was great how we received a coupon for breakfast and a gift card!

Great Fun!Posted Mar 2, 2015
We absolutely loved our stay here. We took a basic room and barely saw it. It had a great sized bed, was super comfy and no more or no less than we needed. Some tips: - when you check out the bell hop will hold onto your bags until you need to go. Checkout is at 11. - get the Players card right away and use it at a whole bunch of different hotels and restaurants. Totally worth it. -don't be afraid to ask for things. They can do anything!

Not to bad of a placePosted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: We loved the location of the resort. It was in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be addressed.
Location: With the location of the resort, there is a lot that can be seen or done.
The atmosphere was great. The cleanliness was not.

Good hotel other than the bathroom wasn't cleaned when we got there. Eventually it was and our resort fees, early check-in fee and late check-out fees were not charged to us. Lots of stuff to see just in the hotel. The pool and roller coaster were closed but we didn't know till we got there. Fun times otherwise!!

Very nice hotel & casino, close to airportPosted Mar 2, 2015
Cons: NYNY advertises 24x7 $5 craps. Could not find a single craps table under $10 for the entire 4 day trip.
I was initially a bit apprehensive about staying here, as the last time I was in Vegas (10 years ago) a quick visit to the NYNY casino was underwhelming. In the 10 years since I last visited, they seem to have made great improvements. The Casino was very nice, the ventilation worked fantastically, the dealers were (for the most part) very friendly and helpful, the pitbosses were also friendly and would joke around appropriately (unlike other casinos, where they were entirely too serious). The rooms were decently sized, clean, and nice.

Like New York CityPosted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to other hotels and Las Vegas strip. Down to earth environment.
Cons: Staff was not very welcoming. I don't think anyone spoke to me that wasn't on my floor except during check in and check out.
Location: Craft Steak is a great steak house in the MGM across the street. The walk through Excalibur and Luxor to get to Mandalay Bay was nice.
My hotel stay was like being in NYC. I felt like I was getting hustled when I was told that the two complimentary breakfast buffets that were included with my stay came with two stipulations. The first was that they were not on the premises, which reeked of inconvenience. The second was that without them my hotel fees where about $140 less. Since when do you pay for complimentary services? This was not a major deal breaker for me, the hotel was still convenient for the conference that I was in town for and for walking the strip. Also the proximity to MGM was good for better quality dining. The hotel staff was not very friendly. In fact, I don't recall seeing anyone except the housekeeping staff on my floor. This could be that they aren't clearly identified or that they just weren't around. I can say that I do not remember not one person speaking to me or asking me if I needed help. All in all the hotel was worth the price and I would stay there again with friends. However, I'd choose another place if it was for a business trip.

BeeindruckendPosted Mar 2, 2015
- Wenn Las Vegas, dann wieder New York, New York.
