Pleasantly Unexpected. This place has a young progressive vibe. Very clean. Great staff. Good bar. No TV in the room. But who cares.

Gold Spike OasisPosted Jan 20, 2015
Very disappointed. Biggest disappointment was having NO TV and NO PHONE in the room. I have never checked in at a hotel with NO TV and NO PHONE!! I had to call the hotel through my cell if I needed anything. There was only one attempt to clean the room, we told housekeeping we would leave in 20 minutes and it was never cleaned. I had to call the following day to make sure they cleanedy room and brought up fresh towels. I was a little weirded out on how low the ceiling was in the room and how small the room was.

Good experience. I was there for a business trip and I was looking for something quiet, tucked in a corner yet easily accessible location. This location has it all. However, for fun seekers, this isn't a bad place even though relatively far from the strip. The Fremont St Experience is right around the corner.

Loud booming music until 4am from the hotel lobbyPosted Jan 5, 2015
Cons: Letting guests know when they are booking that there is literally a club in the lobby that plays loud music at all hours of the night into the 4am tim
Loud booming music until 4am made it impossible for the guests to sleep and be rested. Also we were told we would be at the Oasis, but instead were put at the Gold Spike.

We stayed on a Friday night. The hotel has a bar with an outside band that played until 3 am. Couldn't begin to sleep until the band stopped.

Nice hotel/hostel in Downtown Las VegasPosted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Staff, room.
Cons: Clothes rack.
Location: Near Fremont street.
Friendly, personable staff made it a pleasure to check in. It gets a little loud at night, but that's part and parcel of living in Downtown Las Vegas. Room was clean and comfortable. A clothes rack would be a good addition.

Unsanitary. Upcharged. Hidden fees.Posted Jan 4, 2015
I booked a room at $96/night it came out to 260$ a night when i checked in. The staff is unfriendly unwelcoming and just rude. My room was dirty, it had dust everywhere, no toilet paper and no towels whatsoever. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to las Vegas. I paid well over $200/night, I could've paid the same thing for something on the strip. So my overall experience with his hotel? Horrible. I booked 3 nights stayed 1 and checked out early. I rather sleep in my car, than stay at a total rip off of a hotel.

Before your check in check with staff concerning parking. Other than that the stay was good for an overnight visitor that was in town
