Convenient place for me to stay a few nights.

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Definitely the staff. They were more than friendly and attentive enough to make me feel welcomed without being overbearing.
Cons: My room was clean, but that "hotel room funk" may only go away with a major overhaul. Signs in the halls directing to rooms should be put up.
Location: The location worked as home base for my drives to northwest LV and also to the strip.
I actually have family in the area who I usually stay with but this time around I needed (for my own sanity) to stay elsewhere. All of the hotels and casinos close to my family were far too expensive since I didn't plan on spending time at the hotel other than to sleep and I didn't really need to be on the strip. The Palace Station worked perfectly for that need and I got a good price on my room for the weekend. Some friends coincidentally also came into town the same weekend and stayed at a casino on the strip. So the Palace station was the perfect in-between for me to head northwest to see my family during the day and then meet my friends on the strip in the evening. As I needed to fly home early Monday morning, staying at the Palace Station also made things easier for me to get myself to the airport rather than bothering family to take me at 4:30 AM. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's something about the casino atmosphere that cracks me up. There is always some good people watching and I definitely indulged. I do admit that it was at least 3 round trips coming and going before I managed to do it without getting lost to and from my room. The front desk will provide a map of the rooms, but signs and arrows on the walls would really be helpful. I was definitely not the only one lost in those halls either!

I spent a night in the courtyard rooms. It was not a glamorous room but it was very clean, very comfortable and very cheap.

Nice hotel

Most of the personell were very friendly. No coffee in the room. You need to purchase coffee from the Starbucks downstairs. Not a five star strip hotel but a very good value for your dollar. Make sure you have all your misc sundrys such as toothpaste etc if not tou will have to purchase at the gift shop. Overall not a bad hotel

Rooms were not very clean. well situated for shops

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Position... 5 minutes from the strip... 6 from the shops!!!
Cons: Attention to House Keeping. We had a Petit Suit in the tower was clean but in one of the corners under the curtains there were a pair of ladies tights
Location: Everything is within 10 minutes by car. shows, restaurants, shops, casinos.... The hotel is easy In easy Out. No hassle to get a lift, just walk in.
We have stayed in this hotel for many years. Normally its been great but this trip I noticed the staff not so helpful. the prices going up! the quality and value for money down. they dont seem to be interested in the client any more! We like staying there as we are big shoppers and the hotel is very well situated of the I15. I am sure we will give it another try!

my week in las vegas

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: I really like the ham skillet breakfast menu.
Cons: I have never had much luck in the casino.
Location: The location is off the Las Vegas Boulevard but close enough to be convenient. Parking is close by and convenient unlike most of the bigger hotels.
The Palace Station is one of several Station hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. It is clean and the main restaurant has very good service and very good food at a reasonable price. My room in the courtyard section of the hotel was clean and had recently had new tile installed in the entry way and bathroom. It looked nice but the stand up shower is a bit small and the shower head was mounted in the wall so low that it made taking a shower a not so fun experience as I kept bumping my head on it and contort my body to get under the water. The tv in the room was large and had a great picture. The heat and air conditioning worked great. I don't recommend staying in the courtyard section of the hotel as it was very noisy 24/7. My room adjoined the service entrance to the hotel and there was constant noise.

On the west side of I-15

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: We liked the location.
Cons: It could have been cleaner and better maintained.
Location: You are close enough to the Strip to get into all the action. They also have a shuttle although we didn't use it.
We chose Palace Station because of it's location. We wanted to be away from the Strip and close to the golf course we were going to play. That part worked. We were disappointed in the condition of the room. We did ask them to tighten the toilet seat which they did. The shower head didn't work right and that wasn't as easily fixed I guess. When I pulled out the bedside table to plug in my computer, there was food crumbs behind it. I also did not expect the taxes and service fees to be $16 a day.

Affordable Off Strip Hotel

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Availability and friendliness of front desk staff.
Cons: Might be time for this hotel to expend the $$$$ necessary for a face lift.
Location: Quick and easy access to I-15 and the Las Vegas Strip, as well as Las Vegas Boulevard and downtown Vegas.
Palace Station is a well-established hotel located west of the Las Vegas Strip. Stayed there for 2 nights and it was affordable, clean and functional, although not fancy. Fairly easy ingress/egress from I-15.

A cheap place to stay

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: The parking was very easy every night and well lighted with visible security riding around.
Cons: The walkway to the Garden Rooms could be renovated to be nicer and maybe introduce vacuum cleaners to the cleaning staff for the hallways and stairs.
Location: Easy access to the freeway
Had a Garden room out by the pools which one was closed. The hallways seemed like they were never cleaned. Bed was comfortable and the shower was ok. The cafe was nice and food was so so with large portions. Casino was smoky but it's Vegas.
