"Economic stay"
Our car broke down the repairs were totaled at 800$ found a decent price so we decided to stay here. At first the room was non smoking and smelled like smoke. If decided to let the front desk know. I was moved smelled great had a fridge and a microwave so it turned out better than expected. Staff is friendly and even checked us in a bit early. For the price it is definitely good and right across the street from the outlets also close to the strip.

"Great location"
Great location, just a short walk from the Strip. We walked to the monorail, as well as to shows at the nearby casinos Bellagio and Bally's.

"Excellent budget choice"
You excpect something different from a budget hotel: a certain kind of sleeziness. Not the Claremont! Fresh rooms, friendly people and a breakfast buffet. Excellent value for money.

"Gem off the strip"
We stayed 4 days here for our babymoon and we loved it. Huge suites with a two person jet tub helped us relax in the mornings, then we walked to the strip for show tickets and people watching. Pretty clean and new. The only thing it missed was that can-do attitude from the staff, but still worth it.

"Best place to stay in Vegas!"
If you are tired of the crowds in Las Vegas, this is a great place to stay. Near enough to the strip's madness and crowds, but an elegant and peaceful respite from the craziness of the strip's casinos. Also, Charlie Palmer's steak house is fantastic! Will definitely stay here again.

"Really Great Hotel and Great Location"
I wasn't sure what to expect because some of the reviews were not so good. I attended an event at the Hard Rock Hotel, but did not want to spend the money on the rooms there. The Alexis was right across the street and a really good deal. My room was really a suite with a little kitchenette, and two queen beds, a bathroom, and a big soaking tub. Hotel staff was really friendly. There is a shuttle from the airport, but honestly a taxi cost less than $12 so I just took a taxi. Room was very clean and comfortable. The tile in the bathroom is a little chipped, but I didn't really mind. Only complaint is that the rooms do open straight outside, and my room was on the backside of the hotel. Made me feel just a little uncomfortable, but that is probably my own thing. I could really just step out the door of my hotel room, walk across the street and be at the Hard Rock Hotel! It was great. Checkout was super easy, and I did it on the TV. I'd definitely go back. Also, I had dinner and a drink at the Alexis Bar and the food was great, the drinks were great, and the cost was really affordable. Oh, and did I mention you don't have a lot of hidden fees, and no resort fees! Very nice.

"Great hotel"
We have stayed here several times. It was always a quick walk to the strip but they area has been cleaned up a lot around the hotel. New resturants close by with the new Ferris wheel. The hotel casino floor was under remodel but that's not too important to us. The Westin is a quiet retreat from the never ending Vegas.

"Perfect night!"
The hotel didn't have the king room we had booked ready when we went to check in, but the helpful woman at the desk offered to upgrade us to a suite for a small upgrade fee. We jumped on the deal and ended up with a $800 suite for about $100 a night! The suite was wonderful and the view from the room amazing, right over the pool and Eiffel Tower. Wish I could get get a view of the Eiffel Tower like that in Paris for $100 a night!
