Casino-less (quiet) suite hotel.

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Quiet. Large rooms. Kitchen facilities.
Cons: More staff.
Location: Just 2 blocks from the strip, particularly Caesar's Palace
Great Suite-sized rooms with kitchen close to the strip. Excellent for longer-term family stays. Staff were friendly (especially in the brunch dining area) but the hotel felt a bit understaffed at times. VIP access did not seem to provide any additional benefits. Overall, a good hotel though.

Nice hotel near the Las Vegas Strip.

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: The best thing I can say about this hotel was the valet service. The employees were always there and ready and very friendly!
Cons: Would have loved to have a 24 hour restaurant.
Location: Very near to the strip and many things to do nearby.
The room was very comfortable and quiet. We loved the full kitchen access, even though we rarely used it.

Nice but could be cleaner

Posted Sep 29, 2014
The hotel room was very nice. It was big and comfortable. However, the carpet in the hotel was not clean and had stains. The common hallways were alos carpeted and dirty. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I would stay again.

I had a good experience. The room was quiet, spacious, clean, fresh, and comfortable. It offers a washer dryer! Price was great.

Pros: Spacious and comfortable room
Location: Location was good, one block off the Strip, may be a little dicey walking amongst the homeless folks along a short bit but just be aware.
Great value and location! Spacious rooms, convenient to the Strip.

Great place to stay just off the Strip

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Location and sytle of hotel.
Location: Close to hotels on the strip.
This is the second time we have stayed here. Needs a bit of a tidy up in some areas (carpets) but didn't distract from the overall experience. We enjoy it as it is only one main block off the strip so away from the hustle and bustle but eaily accessable to all the major hotels and shows. The pool is available at no extra charges and not overcrowed like the strip hotels. The rooms are apartment style with seperate large bedroom, lounge and large kitchen area. The happy hour was good with 1/2 price drinks and small plates of food. Good offering. Parking is by valet only, and the valet staff were great.

Thanks for the raving reviews ( minus the carpet). I am glad you were able to take advantages of our quiet pool and awesome happy hour. I know some guests do not prefer valet parking but its nice to hear the team treated you well. See you on your 3rd visit, cheers. Joseph McGovern Front Office Manager

Spacious princess suite

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Breakfast on the 5th floor was reasonably priced & consistently tasty. Danny and Juan provided excellent service and conversation. The Spa was lovely.
Cons: Hot water issue, may be a valve issue in the shower. Sorry, but not a fan of the florescent lights that take forever to warm up. Water quality.
Location: Great location. 10-15 min walk to strip and Bally's monorail terminal. Jay's Market and 7-11 next door. 25 min walk to the Mirage or Treasure Island.
The princess suite is huge. In fact I think with a different layout they could have made it a two bed suite. Kitchen was nice and roomy with bar seating. Dishes are in settings of four, so for a bigger group it might be a challenge. Bed was comfy as was the couch. The balcony view in 719 is partially blocked due to mechanical ducting on the adjacent roof. The hot water was inconsistent. It started off too hot to use, no cold at all. A few miutes later it was cooling off and required continued adjustment. Also, the water tasted and smelled poorly. I thought the refrigerator water filter may help, but that water was nasty as well. I ended up buying water the next day and used flavor packets from my suitcase to mask the water quality. Overall we were happy with the room and its condition, but only stayed here a couple nights.

Thank you very much for sharing your comments. I will be sure to pass some of your maintenance issues ( water temp, water filters in fridges) along to our Chief Engineer. The water in the desert has been a challenge since coming out from the east coast but you may have just solved my dilemma with the flavor packets. Once again thank you for sharing and we hope to see you again in the future. Joseph McGovern Front Office Manager
