Vegas Gem

Pros: Large suites and facilities
Cons: The hotel is starting to show signs of wear and tear which is to be expected - in-room carpets should be next on the reno list
Location: The Platinum is central. The Linq is across the street and its a short walk to the strip
The Platinum is a great escape from the craziness of Vegas. The suites are spacious, clean and well equipped. There is no casino in the hotel which makes it quieter, but the restaurant, bar and spa facilities are great. The pool area is nice and the pools, while smallish and fairly shallow, are clean and the water is warm. Parking is free valet service and the staff are efficient and friendly.

Nice Hotel Away from the Strip

Pros: friendly and accommodating staff balcony view
Cons: new carpets new furniture
Location: a few blocks from the strip-short walk to all of the action convenience store and small grocery cross the street
Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The suite was spacious and the view of the Strip from the balcony was beautiful. The rooms do need some updating-fabric in the chairs was ripped and the carpets were badly stained. Nice bathroom with deep whirlpool tub and separate shower. All very clean. Spa services were wonderful. The food at the hotel restaurant was mediocre and the prices high. The servers, however, were very pleasant and accommodating. All in all, a good value if you are looking for a Vegas hotel within walking distance of the strip.

Found my "go to" hotel in Vegas

A gem - non smoking and non gaming, walk to the strip, walk to the High Roller Ferris wheel. Top notch staff and the room was amazing!

super, nice, large, and close to strip

Pros: size of room, bathroom, comfortable bed, close to strip
Location: 1 mintue from Ballys, 2 mintues to the Linq, Cesars, Flamingo etc
for the money you get a 1000sqft apartment and are only 2 minute walk from the strip, there is no reason to stay anywhere else

Casino-less (quiet) suite hotel.

Pros: Quiet. Large rooms. Kitchen facilities.
Cons: More staff.
Location: Just 2 blocks from the strip, particularly Caesar's Palace
Great Suite-sized rooms with kitchen close to the strip. Excellent for longer-term family stays. Staff were friendly (especially in the brunch dining area) but the hotel felt a bit understaffed at times. VIP access did not seem to provide any additional benefits. Overall, a good hotel though.

It was a nice place to spend time with my wife. The only thing I didn't like was the robes that was provided to us...

Nice hotel near the Las Vegas Strip.

Pros: The best thing I can say about this hotel was the valet service. The employees were always there and ready and very friendly!
Cons: Would have loved to have a 24 hour restaurant.
Location: Very near to the strip and many things to do nearby.
The room was very comfortable and quiet. We loved the full kitchen access, even though we rarely used it.

Nice but could be cleaner

The hotel room was very nice. It was big and comfortable. However, the carpet in the hotel was not clean and had stains. The common hallways were alos carpeted and dirty. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I would stay again.
