Was not impressed.

Room renovations were very cheaply done. Pictures fell off of walls, towel racks fell of at the slightest touch, and was generally not comfortable.

Plaza Hotel 2014

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The staff was very nice and eager to please us.
Cons: The rooms need some serious changes and improvements to compete with other hotels.
Location: Excellent location.
The room was okay but nothing special. I guess we got what we paid for... The closet was actually part of the bathroom. There were 6 clothes hangers for the two if us, which was not enough. The sink was poor with a mold smell and nothing to open/close the drain plug. The toilet and shower area was extremely small. The floor lamp was about to fall over and not balanced. The room was clean but housekeeping did not make both beds each day. There was food in the refrigerator from the last occupant. I was told that rooms were renovated recently but I think they didn't do a very good job. You could tell that furniture was used with chips and nicks in it.

Pros: price
Cons: remove the resort fee. There is nothing that you give that warrants this extra fee. i did nt know this was going to be added when i reserved the room.

Low key low budget hotel

Posted Apr 14, 2014
I feel that this was an acceptable hotel for when you would like to take a trip to Las Vegas but have a low budget. The Plaza has a great location at the end of fremont st.. The casino, lobby, and restaurants were never over crowded with people which can be really relieving after a day/night. Rooms were comfy and quiet. The only thing that I felt could improve was the staff. Overall they did an acceptable job just seemed that most of them absolutely didn't want to be there or they hated their jobs which would give us a slight uncomfortable feeling. But other than that The Plaza was acceptable.

Right on Fremont Street

Posted Apr 13, 2014
The room was clean, but carpet was freyed, bathtub was greesy. Because my room looked directly onto Fremont Street, it was noisey. The ceiling had what looked like mold, but could have been spackle. There was no guide to tell one what services the hotel offered, or what channels were available on the tv. There was no room service. No ice machine on my floor. The pool bar was closed for the season.

Fine if you don't spend a lit of time in the room.

The bathroom fan didn't work. The air conditioner was really loud, but it did work. Beds were clean but rock hard. No where to change in private, so don't share a room with anyone who hasn't seen you naked. The decor was updated and pleasant, but dark.

Old hotel with old equipments

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Location: Shopping in the outlet mall is pretty closed
The hotel is in the center of downtown LV. All I can say is it is too old. The shower curtain and bed sheets are simply old and in dark white color.
