Convenient Las Vegas Hotel

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: It was close but not too close to the Freemont Experience.
Cons: We stayed in the South Tower and had to walk through the casino to get to our elevators.
Location: Freemont Street is so very close and the Deuce bus to the Strip is very convenient.
We drove to Vegas and spent about half the time on Feemont and the other half on the Strip as we had friends staying there.

Convenient to downtown

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: It was relatively cheap and did have good facilities.
Hotel was a good economy choice and was at a good location in downtown Vegas. However, the street noise was objectionable: very loud music at night. The room sink was slow to drain.

Need body mirrors, bigger bathrooms & pool update.

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Hotel was nice. Water smelled terrible in the sink drain. Bathrooms too small and they need full body mirrors. Pool really needs a makeover to go with the inside of the hotel restorations. It was nice. I'd recommend.

Pros: location/price/friendliness
Cons: stop the resort fee and just put it in the price
Staff was friendly and personable. check in went good- brought us water while we waited to check in which was nice touch. Blackjack pit boss was very personable and great sense of humor

impress with my hotel stay

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Of course the improvement to rooms and the casino floor.
Cons: parking
I was very impress with the improvement made to the Plaza, since my last stay which was many years ago. Next visit to Las Vegas I will plan to stay at the Plaza. First class on the room.

Resort fee a rip off

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: Remove the resort fees
Location: Across the street from the Fremont street experience. Nothing else
The Plaza is not a resort it is a regular 3 star hotel and casino. the rooms are wide and the non smoking ones are clean, but the noise from outside is too loud till after midnight. Their slot machines are not loose and the hall is smelly. The resort fee is a rip off 15 dollars a day plus tax. These fees should not be taxed because they are not sale they are surcharges. For that amount you get free internet (don't need it because i have mobile Internet on my phone) and 2 smallest bottles of water 333 ml each. That's all. They say it includes valet and self parking but I did not have a car. I will never stay in that RESORT again

Terrible hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Too must to list
When I first arrived at the hotel in the evening, there were no one walking in and out of the hotel. I thought to myself, this is in Vegas? Once I walked into hotel lobby I quickly understood why. The atmosphere was not my expectation. It was dark and dirty and only one person working at the front desk. Once checked in, I was pointed in the direction of my room which turned out to be harder to get to. I had to ask three different people to find the elevators. Once in the room I found a joining room door that did not close or lock and a friends in the bathroom. I was completed disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends or family.

Windy Towers!

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Close to Downtown Freemont Experience.
Cons: Better beds, and better noise control.
Location: Everything on Freemont.
Our room had a horrible odor. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Tv stopped working after first day. Last night there awaken at two in the morning by the wind coming down the hall. When checking out told them and let them listen to recording. The gentleman at the front desk told us he has heard before. They deducted a one day $16.00 resort fee for the inconvience. Not enough!

Good staff

Nice staff, the beds were a bit hard. Might be it was just a busy weekend.
