Easily accessible by the RTC bus.

Pros: Easily accessible by the RTC, Amazing selection of restaurants, has an Indian restaurant in the food court, ample of ways to get around the city
Cons: The whole check-in experience could've been improved. A little personalization would've been very easy to do.
Location: This is located at the southern end of the strip and the really up-beat shows happen at the northern end. But it was the best bang for the buck.
We had booked a room with 2 king size beds which could accommodate 4 people. I rated the hotel moderately because they had given out this room to someone else. I had called them like 2-3 times a day before giving them our flight details, time of check in and also insisting that they not give out our room. They however chose to ignore our instructions and gave out our room. When we checked in they apologized for the error and immediately upgraded our room. There was one catch though, this had just one king size bed and they rolled one bed in. So the 4 of us had to adjust. I would'nt really mind too much because all of us were very comfortable, however this would be an issue for other folks.

Eh.. Could be better

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. But, I put some drinks in the fridge, came back the next day and, surprise, the fridge wasn't even plugged in!
Cons: I couldn't fit it in 150 characters. I could have stayed down strip more for the same price. I chose the Riviera partly based on it being in 'Casino'
Location: Nothing to do nearby. Everything is a cab ride away. The pool area is empty and depressing.
I had wanted a view of the strip. After paying for an upgrade, the room had a view of a roof and the strip was nowhere in site. I went down to request another room. Got a view of the pool, and the back of Encore. Not really what I was looking for. Would rather have seen Circus Circus instead of rooftops and an empty pool area. The staff was nice, but nothing spectacular. You would think that a place as empty as it the staff would be all smiles and trying to bring people in. I went out to grab a cab, and lo and behold.. NO CABS! How does a strip casino have ZERO cabs waiting. I ended up walking to the Westgate. The valet did say he can call someone though.

Nice & Clean

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: room was clean and nice. Bed was conformable and pool was very nice and clean
Cons: Customer service. It seems unfair that they give less priority to customers that book through third parties.
Location: At the end of the strip. Be willing to walk or take a bus to the center of the strip
Went over Labor Day weekend and stayed at booked a luxury room. Room was as advertised (newly remodeled), very clean and had a comfortable bed. However we requested a non-smoking room with two beds and when we arrived they had not more rooms with two beds available, only rooms with one King bed. They said that since we had booked through a third party (expedia) we were not guaranteed our requested room. That was a little odd, as I didn't know I was given less priority if i was booking through a third party. I understand this sort of thing happens at hotels when they are overbooked during a holiday but in these situations hotels usually offer to upgrade you to the next best possible option since they aren't unable to fulfill your request or at least try to match your original request. Instead they offer to downgrade us to a smoking classic room (classic rooms are the cheapest and oldest rooms in their hotels, I have stayed in them before and not appealing at all). Like I said my past experience with hotels when they don't have the room you requested they upgrade you not downgrade two rooms down from what you paid for. When I declined their offer they offer a larger room with a king bed where they would be able to fit a second bed but at an additional charge. Anyway at this point spending more money in this hotel seemed pointless. Took their small king bed room and had to deal with it.

Great price but you get what you pay for.

When you ask for a non-smoking room you expect a room that does not smell like cigarette. Room cleanliness was not up to par. The only good thing was the staff at the front desk

Nothing great, nothing terrible.

Cons: More detail when cleaning.
Location: Lots to do, walk the strip, see shows, shop....
I booked my room with a king bed and non smoking. Checked in and got 2 double (not even queen) beds and it was a smoking room. I called the front desk, was told that's all they had, I insisted I prebooked it with a king and non smoking, was told that I requested it, doesn't mean I would actually get it and of course there was nothing available. Got a bit louder about it and was then told I could upgrade to a king bed for $20 a night?!?!!? Really??? Nevertheless, stayed, it was 2 nights, we made the best of it. Toilet seat had some sort of stain on it and the upper lid was terribly stained yellow, I'll guess cigarette smoke!? Hello??? Change the lid people!!! Towels left on floor were put back on towel rack, not replaced. Maybe that was my bad, my boyfriend said I should have put them in the tub. We had some stuff fall on carpet, labels from new items etc...came back to room, still there. Guess rooms aren't vacuumed every day. Overall, it is what it is, probably wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again. Little interaction with the staff (except for front desk guy) so cannot comment either way.

Good Location on the strip but average facilities

Posted Sep 2, 2014
My family checked in on labour day long weekend. Check in was smooth. However the room which they gave me was pretty awful. Small for deluxe room. Not even queen beds. Wifi never connected. Noise coming from adjacent rooms whole night. Even the small refrigerator was not working. Bathroom sink was choking. Pretty average hotel. Not recommend unless you get it for 20 bucks or less.

Not too bad for an old hotel

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Service in lobby was pretty quick.
Cons: Bell hop service was a little unorganized. Sunday morning at 4am a loud alarm went off for about 30 minutes on my floor by accident.
Wasn't too bad for being one of the oldest hotels there. Everything seemed clean.

Great value for this hotel, which is located at the top of the Strip.
