Good for novices.

With single deck blackjack and low limit tables ($!, $3, $5), this is a reasonable casino for first-timers and novice gamblers.

Friendly staff

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Older casino and hotel however the staff was extremely friendly which made up the difference. Saw the 'Crazy Girls' show I give it 2 thumbs up. Lots of slot machines but lacking variety of table games. For example had 2 craps tables but only one open and had trouble getting on it cause of the wait. The bus stop is located in front of the casino which made an easy travel up and down the strip including Freemont street.

Checking In

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: check in and guarantee of rooms when booked on-line.
My overall experience at your hotel was good. Staff for the most part were courteous and cheerful. However, checking in was no so good. First of all there were no non-smoking rooms available even though I had two rooms reserved non-smoking. I was able to up grade but my other family members never were able to get a non-smoking. The second concern regarding checking in was that there was a rush on. Even though a number of staff were working it was apparent that many were ill prepared for the influx of guests. I believe that greater preparation would have been an asset.

Initially disappointed as older than I thought it would be, however we enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable-------we upgraded from standard to king bed with fridge/safe and somewhat more roomy. Felt safe..... hotel has a good selection of food choices available and staff were friendly and helpful.

A place to stay in Vegas

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Big Casino, clean, quite comfi.
Cons: Room service forgott to make one of the two beds, forgot to fill up shampoo and soap. Smoker rooms should have a balkony and at least a mini fridge.
Location: Circus circus on the other side of the road. Close to downtown and the strip. Restaurants, Pharmacies, Grocery stiores close by
For the price we payed for our room in Vegas for two nights, it was really okay. We had a smoking room, two double beds and a TV. We were a little bit disappointed about the room design. For example, we booked a smoker room and had no balkony. As a smoker, I really donĀ“t like to smoke in the room were I sleep, because then everything smells like smoke. There was no mini fridge, what was really disappointing. We had a couple of drink in our room before going to the strip and it would have been convinient, if could cool our drinks. The Hotel in genreal was okay. A really large casino, with every common game (Blackjack, Roulett, Poker, Slot machines ...) A big food court with a huge choice of food. Gift shops, Tattoo studios and everything you need for your stay in Las Vegas. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by. Close to the strip, downtown 10min. drive with cab same as Cesars Pallace. All in all it was good

Not too bad for the price.

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: It was the cheapest.
Cons: Maybe better amenities and some free entertainment. Perhaps a coffee maker!
Location: Not much to do at Riviera. It's right across the street from Circus Circus, which was more fun with circus acts and carnival games.
So we booked a luxury room for 12-4-14 to 12-9-14. Gigantic line at check-in well after midnight! I think that was because a lot of flights were delayed or cancelled so I don't know if they are always that slow. They did not have my actual room request available so they eventually found us a suite. It was very large but small bathroom. Huge living room and a mini fridge but no coffee maker (none of the rooms at this hotel have coffeemakers) or anything else. A bit dated, but we were not trying to spend too much time in the room anyway!! Tiny conditioning shampoo, no conditioner, and cheap bar soaps.

OLD Vegas hotel

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Everything! Tear it down and start over.
Guy checking us in needed more training very very slow. He then told us that on Monday morning we would have to move to another room. Asked for an upgrade because we did not want to move. No go! Daily resort fee for a pool that is closed? Really? I would rather you charge more per day than a "resort" fee...plus this is NO resort. This is a good hotel if you want cheap and are not ever in the room...I go to Wynn Sports Book and spend all my time there...about 1/2 mile walk away.
