Good location-close to convention center and stripPosted Feb 28, 2014
Front desk very helpful with directions. Breakfast was disappointing- no fresh fruit was available.

Location is the only advantage to this hotel.Posted Jan 19, 2014
Pros: Location, location and location.
Cons: The internet is so slow that it's basically useless.
As long as you keep your expectations low, you won't be disappointed. The location one block from the Las Vegas Convention Center makes the Rodeway a great choice if you are in town for a tradeshow. The hotel is pretty ugly and depressing, but the rooms are big and clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. My only real complaint about the Rodeway is that the internet was so slow that it was almost impossible to check e-mails in the hotel.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was acceptable (purple paint?) but shower head was a little on the fine side.

What can I sayPosted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location was sketchy. The room was nice. The breakfast was not good . If you just need a place to sleep and move on then this will work for you. If you plan to spend several days in Vegas I would book a different motel-hotel.

Three rooms are a charm.Posted Nov 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Having stayed in this hotel once before (in 2008) I knew not to expect too much. The first room that I was given was in good shape, but I was unable to get a decent wireless signal from the free hotel wireless, so I asked to move rooms. The very gracious and helpful staff accommodated my request and gave me another room. This one had good wireless as it was directly above the office. Unfortunately, this end unit had a broken security lock on the door. After asking for it to be repaired 4 times and being assured each time it would be "right away" I asked to be moved again. The third room was completely satisfactory. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean enough. As a budget hotel, the TV was small and bathroom did not have great amenities, but the room was big enough for me and there had been some effort to update the bathroom. The supplied breakfast was not very good, but at least there was something available.

Great value close to the Convention CenterPosted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: The room had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. There was no extra charge for WiFi.
Location: There are three reasonably priced restaurants very close, and a Wal-greens.
My brother-in-law and I attended the 2013 SEMA Show. Last year I stayed at the LVH. Yes, it is only a block from the Convention Center. But, the rooms were not significantly better than those at The Rodeway Inn. Yet, the rooms at the LVH are quite a bit more expensive. I was glad for the photos of rooms at The Rodeway Inn on-line. The photos convinced me The Rodeway Inn would be just fine for our stay. The Convention Center was less than 10 minutes away by walking. An additional benefit to The Rodeway Inn is its proximity to three restaurants quite distant from the LVH, all of which have good food choices for far less cost than the LVH. And, there is a Wal-greens very near, too. The accommodations at The Rodeway Inn suited our needs very well.

More than meets the eye.Posted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel may not look like much, but I was pleasantly surprised! The room was very large and clean. A LOT of channels on the TV. But maybe the most surprising and thing about this hotel is that the hotel is totally secure. No one can walk in front of your door or through hallways without a key card. It's a totally gated hotel (except the parking lot).
